 1. Visit the site: www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/Strategies.html

and read “Analyze your Topic”. Choose a topic to research and jot down some keywords to search.

2. Using the Search Engine Category, follow the “5 step search strategy” with your topic. Do 2 searches with different keywords. For example, if your topic is “Colonial America”, search the actual term “Colonial America” and maybe “American Colonies” or “Colonization” or “13 Colonies”. Use your keywords from above.
