Students Paper Award

Society of Operations management will also organise a national paper presentation contest for the students during the seminar. Students of various management institutes are invited to submit papers for the Paper Writing Contest sponsored by the ***************. Papers are judged by a committee selected from the ********. The three best papers receive********. Winning papers may also be considered for publication

Papers

Papers should be original work and should not have been published in any form before. The paper selected will become the exclusive property of Soceity of Operations Management.

The presentation document should adhere to the following specifications

Words Limit(Max) 2200 including Annexures

Font Type Times New Roman

Line Spacing 1.5

References, footnotes, and bibliographies should be formatted according to the details provided.

Submission Deadlines

Papers post-marked latest by ******* will be eligible for the current year's contest. Late submissions will automatically be entered into the following year's contest. Results of the contest will be E-Mailed personally at the Id provided provided by *****. An acknowledgement will also be send through courier.

Submission Requirements

Two copies of each paper should be submitted to Paper Writing Contest, IIMK ****. Submission should be accompanied by a cover letter containing information on the title of the paper, the student's field of study, whether the paper was previously or will be submitted for course work, the college or university being attended, current mailing address and E-mail Id. The cover letter may also include any personal information about the student, such as where the motivation for writing about a certain topic came from, or how the topic was decided upon. Cover letters will not be used in the paper judging. Papers will not be returned, but at least one copy will be preserved in the Center's archival collection.
