Ramcharran's wife told Kaieteur

night from Berbice where he had transacted business on behalf of
Guy-Tav.
The woman said since Ramcharran was tired he decided to wait
until morning to hand over the money he had brought from Berbice
to his employer.
This newspaper understands that as soon as Ramcharran entered
the compound he was attacked from behind and shot several times.
His attackers then grabbed Ramcharran's bag and made their
escape.
