1931- 1955. James Byron Dean. His name is instantly linked to rebellion. Perhaps this is why his legend has endured for 45 years. He has been idolized by thousands as a symbol of eternal youth. I am Aly, the owner of this website. I'm a James Dean fan and this website is the product of my interest in his life and legend. Jimmy, like many other young actors of his time, took advantage of a new medium called television. He starred in many live productions such as: I'm A Fool, Hill Number One, The Bells of Cockaigne, and The Unlighted Road.
