Back to school... bla. California was very nice. :)
I missed a bit of the morning classes today cause I'm taking part in a U of T study on nutrition. They took a bit of blood from my finger to analyze and now it's bruised and hurts when I type. They also took an ultrasound to measure body fat and took my blood pressure. And I had to fill out all these surveys prior to going. Quite an event.
Got some of my formal photos back.. Sarah L emailed me one of hers of me and Em, below. I also have photos of me bowling in my hot bowling shirt (for the Temple Chai Men's Club, yes!).

^^Emily & I @ the before party before the formal
Starting to get ready for another model UN, SOMA... Representing Peru, woo hoo.
I've gotten addicted to downloading tv shows off of Kazaa... and good for Kabs and Mike Bradley last night. Kabs scored a goal and Mike Bradley was on the starting lineup. :)

Last night I went to the basketball game vs Memphis (see the pic of Pau Gasol to the left) at the ACC with Viv. We had courtside seats so yes my love Michael Bradley was literally in my lap. What a cutie. He didn't score any baskets but got a few important rebounds. He reminds me of a little woodland animal scurrying around the basket.. hah like a chipmunk or something. But in a good way. so I was thisclose to him. I could see the beads of sweat rolling down his face... obsessive much? hah.
Today I went to the reference library to work on my ISP (yeah, I know, March break and I'm still working - what is this??!). But it was actually really satisfying.. like I know I'm accomplishing things. Phew. And I went for lunch with Mum at the Japanese food restaurant (chicken teryaki, yum).
Babysat on Saturday night for the neighbours... They amused me to no end doing Buns of Steel. Telan's quote of the evening: "He's so hairy that in ten years his armpit hair will be past his bum." This was spoken about the host of the Buns of Steel video, who was at the time demonstrating how to "squeeze those cheese curds out of your thighs."
hah.

It's been a while since I've wrote and much has gone on...
Formal was a few weeks ago. I took a guy named Hugh. It was a really fun night - besides the bus getting lost on the way to the formal from the before party - I mean how hard is it for a professional bus driver to find Bay Street in Toronto?? She was driving us to the west end!! oy vey.
I had bikram yoga yesterday and a 12-minute run at lunchtime. So now my legs and arms are about to fall off I'm so sore. Bikram yoga was quite an experience - doing yoga in 103 degrees Fahrenheit. I was so red by the end of it.. ahh. I'm such an old granny that yoga gives me aches and pains. Omg but the yoga teacher was such an old fart (for a thirty-so-ish man) - he's like, "This posture cleans the arteries of your heart!" Ummm sure it does, hon. And also during another one of the postures he was like, "This one aligns your third eye to your knee!" um what eye would that be?? lol... Some of these yoga fanatics are too much for me. I was honking my laughter back at the beginning of the class but I got used to it throughout.. oh boy.
And then after yoga (and having a shower because let me tell you I think I lost about 10 pints of water sweating) I went out with Dad for a quick dinner (and saw Niousha downtown on Bloor) and then went to the CBC building to watch a debate on the situation in Iraq. There were a bunch of students there watching, and Peter Mansbridge was moderating the debate, so it was quite interesting. My favourite debator was Greg Hunt from Melbourne, Australia. He was cool - the most straightforward speaker of them all. Plus, during the little breaks, we could see him on the little TV screen have a little cape wrapped around him and the makeup lady would come running in with her powder puff to powder his face. Ba ha. It was funny. And Pooj and Farnam were there! Twas crazy seeing them... I had not seen them in such a long time. :(
March break has officially started! I'm going to the basketball game on Sunday with Viv (against Memphis)! yeehaw.

Laila is on Much On Demand right now... watching the Music perform but they've stopped performing. Haha I was watching Laila in the background behind Rob Harvey bopping her head and singing along and Sig was there as well, and Laila's hair matched Rob's hair...both very curly.
So... Formal on Saturday and I still don't have a dress. Oy vey.
My gym class went skating yesterday. Quite fun. Laila and I saw Hugh from our summer course in England, which was really random cause he lives in Newmarket or somesuch.. I got a long blister on my leg from my skates... it's like a gash ayee. I think it's infected too because it's all red and white striped. Ha. oh dear.
Humma... I slept @ Em's house on Friday last after the WAC party (which was quite a party considering tis a WAC one, lol) and then she slept at mine the next day cause both our parents were out of town.
Wrote a math contest this morning. It was the Fermat - quite hard, much harder than the other math contests that I have ever written. Im boring myself to tears. ay.

Another break!! Tomorrow I have a day off for Parent Teacher interviews! :) Laila's having a mid-day b-day celebration and we're going skating and then lunching @ the Holt's Cafe. Yay. Then, I'm going to go Formal dress hunting and then I'm going to Em's house for the night... there is a end-of-WAC party going on at night, so we'll go to that together.
so WAC is over... One of our speakers cancelled last minute cause he was sick, so we had to do some mad arranging of a speaker to come the night before. At one point we asked my old history teacher to speak.. She agreed that she'd do something if we didn't arrange for anyone else -- but we ended up getting someone else. But anyway, it just shows how nice some people are. :) I stayed at Em's house on Monday night cause we got in really late and had to wake up early for WAC the next day.
So I've been staying up crazy late each night this week and I'm going to collapse into bed tonight and then wake up late tomorrow cause I can sleep in. Then on Saturday I have an all-day volleyball tournament.. bla.
We were watching Amelie in French class today. Audrey Tautou is so cute.. She's like a mix of Audrey Hepburn and Liv Tyler. Im looking forward to watching more of it... It's so quirky. :) My favourite things.
I don't have much time now so I'll have to end this...
