1967: I'm ba-ack! The Beatles were in the backseat of my car telling me how to get to the feild they were shooting "I Am The Walrus" in. "Turn here" Paul said. I turned "Other way!" JOhn yelled knocking me in the back of the head. "Ow!" I cried. "That's what you get for lettin' a bird drive" Ringo said from the back seat looking out the window. "Oh. Oh are you gonna get it or what!" I said. "It's alright, just turn around we'll get there" Paul said. When we finally get there "What's that for?" I asked pointing to a big wall in the field. "That's where I'm stickin' Paul, Ringo, and George" John said. Paul came out from behind the car wearing his walrus costume. "Can we hurry up? I feel silly." "Alright, everybody's ready when you are, Paulie" John said. Paul, George and Ringo climbed up and did their thing on the wall. After it was over "Can I go up there?" I asked John. "Yeah, ok" John said. So they all went up there with me. I was sitting beside George who was sitting on one end John was sitting on the other side of me then Paul then Ringo. We sat up ther for a while. John asked one of the camera men to take our picture. After the picture was taken John, Paul, and Ringo got down. I got stuck on top with George. "Where're George and Ringa?" John said to Paul looking around. "There" Ringo said pointing to the top of the wall. "George!" John called. "Come down!" "We can't!" we both yelled. "It's not my fault, it's this islly bird!" George yelled. "Shut up, George or I'll push you" I said nudging him. "Ah!" George yelled. "Please come down, Ringa!" Paul called. "I can't!" I yelled. "Sure ya can!" John called as he climbed up the ladder. "It's a straight drop! If you fall you're dead!" Ringo called. Paul hit Ringo in the back of the head "That's not going to help anythin'." "Just come down, Rings. You can trust ol' Johnny" he said stretching out his hand. I took John's hand. "Now crawl over here" he said gently tuggin my hand. I slowly crawled untill I got to the ladder. "Now, I'm gonna let your hand go" he said. I nodded and he let me go. JOhn led me down the ladder from behind then George came down. When George came back Ringo was leaning against the car holding me. I gave John a thumbs up and Ringo let me go.
@@@We let Paul drive us home so we got there. Ringo sat on the couch and lit a cigarette. "Gimme one" I said. Ringo shrugged and gave me his to try. I took a little puff and coughed "ugh" I handed it back to Ringo. He smiled and patted me on the head. John sat in a chair while George and Paul decided to gamble away their last reefer in a card game. I sat in John's lap and pretty soon we were asleep. @@@I woke up in the middle of the night because my mouth was so dry from all the smoke. The room was hazy and George was passed out on the floor. I went in the kitchen and turned on the light "Ah!" Paul was sitting at the kitchen table. "What the bloody 'ell you doin' in the dark, Paul?" I said. Paul shrugged. "What happened to George?" I said sitting beside Paul with a glass of water. "Passed out" Paul said still not looking at me. "What's wrong, Paulie?" I asked putting a hand on his shoulder. "I don't know. Just tired I guess" he said shrugging. "Do you want me to turn this off?" I asked, talking of the light, as I got up to leave. "Off, on, doesn't matter to me" Paul said gloomily. So I turned it off and went back to sleep in John's lap. @@@The next morning I woke up before John or George. Paul and Ringo were in the kitchen. "Paul, have you been sitting there all night?" I asked. "Yes" Paul said gloomily. I looked questioningly at Ringo who just shrugged. George came shuffling into the kitchen rubbing his eyes. "Good morning, Paul" George said. Paul sat there "Paul?" George poked him. "Hm?" Paul said. "Good morning" George said again. "Good morning" Paul said. John came in already wide awake. "Uh, the room doesn't seem as sunny as usual. Alright, Paul what's wrong?" John said. "Nothing, I wish people would stop askin' me that!" Paul said storming out. There was a certain tension inthe room after that. @@@Later that afternoon we left in the bus to look for a place to film "Blue Jay Way." "How about there, George?" Ringo said pointing to an empty field. "No, no that's not right" George said. "It's George's choice, Ring" John said from the drivers seat. Ringo folded his arms and sulked the whole way there. "There, there it is!" George suddenly yelled pointing out the window. John parked where George was pointing. We all got out and Paul tried to light another reefer "Paul, if you light another one of those I'll murder ya!" John said knocking it out of Paul's hand. John backed the bus up closer so they could use the cameras and sound equipment easier. "Dammit, John be careful!" George yelled. He had been sitting on the ground and John had almost backed the bus on top of him. "Sorry" John said coming back out of the bus. Paul and Ringo started setting up the cameras while John and George set up the shot. "Why don't you sit here, George?" I said sitting down in the parking lot. "Ringa, have you ever shot a music video?" John said. "No" I said sheepishly looking at the ground. "Then-" "No, you may be on to something" Ringo cut JOhn off looking through the camera. "Well, see if George sat over here" I continued walking George over to where I was sitting "then you could shoot from over there. Very nice shot I think." Ringo looked through the camera again "Yes, I think you're right" George said. John looked through the camera at George "Alright, we'll do it your way" John sulked. "You're just jelous" I said to John. "I think I want it to be shot later" George said standing up. "I'm hungry" Ringo said. "Then lets go eat and come back when it gets dark" John said getting in the bus. We went to one of John's favorite places, Fasa Nobla. "You know, John, this place is great but what does Fasa Nobla mean?" I asked. "Nothing. I checked. It just sounds good" he said. Ringo had gotten up to "dance" with some people and I noticed Paul wasn't joining in like he used to. "What's wrong, Paulie?" John said. Paul shrugged and looked down at hid hands in his lap. "Why don't you dance, Paul?" I said. "I don't feel like it" Paul said. Then the waiter brought our food "Ringo, food's here" John called. Ringo said bye to his friends and came back. @@@After dinner we went back to the parking lot. "Perfect!" George said looking up at the sky and twirling around. "Alright then, lets do it and get home please" Ringo yawned. After they got everything set up I climbed up on top of the bus to watch. They started the music and George lip-synched. Somehow, even lip-synching, they had to do fourteen takes. "Alright, George I don't care how bad you screw up we're taking this time!" John said pointing a warning finger at George. George was slightly shocked at the suddeness of the warning. "Action" John yelled. They used the fifteenth take, which ended up better than the rest anyway, and we went home. @@@"Ringa, Ringa-aa" Paul sing-songed shaking me awake. "There's nobody here but us mice" I said turning over. "Well, would the mice like to come to the studio to watch us record another trak?" I looked up. John and Paul were standing over me. "Ok" I got up and we went out for breakfast. @@@On the way to the studio I fell asleep in the bus. I woke up just in time to see George leaving. I got up and ran out after him. "Ever think of waking me up, George?" I said walking beside him. "Sorry" was all George said. "So whatcha doin' today?" I said sitting down on an amplifier. "Your Mother Should Know" Paul said. After much begging Paul let me sing back up on some of the takes since we were only singing for a brief sentence anyway. The best ones turned out to be the ones I wasn't in. John said it wasn't me it was the buzz in the background but I didn't hear it. They decided to film the music video the next day. They were determind to put the song together that night even if it killed them.It took 'till five in the morning. They left me in the bus because I was asleep. I woke up because we were moving. I sat up "What's-where...." "Just calm down. We're just going to the studio" Paul said yawning. I leaned my head back on the window. When we got in the studio they did the first take and I started begging to be in it. John, Paul, and Ringo let me. George had no opinion. So they taught me the dance steps. "No no no!" John said. "Look, Ringa" Ringo did the dance once more for me. I burst out laughing. Ringo stood there with his hands on his hips. "Sorry, sorry" I said trying to supress the giggles. "Here, just do it as best you can, we've got all day" Paul said handing me my costume. I changed and took my place with the other girls. "Action!" the director yelled. We got it done in fifty takes because every now and then someone would fall down or have to go to the bathroom. @@@"Well, bye again" I said the next morning. "Bye" Ringo said hugging me. "Hey, I forgot to ask" John said as I was turning to leave. "What?" I asked. "Have you still got it?" he said holding up his bracelet. "Yes" I said holding up mine. John smiled and we hugged. "Bye George" I said. George picked me upand put me in my car. "Get outta here" he said playfully. "Alright. Bye!" I called, waving. They waved and I drove off. THE END (YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!)
