acrylic is Robert Reekie. Robert has been writing music since he was twenty five. He began recording his music in 1998. His main influences are Depeche Mode, New Order, Nine Inch Nails and The Human League. Robert plays the keyboard, programmes and sings. acrylic's music has an 80's vibe and is mostly electronic, although the sound is used traditionally.
acrylic's albums eclectic and perplexed also feature guest appearances by Robert's brother Graham. In these appearances, Graham sings, plays the keyboard, and the acoustic guitar. Graham Reekie was a member of a band in the 80's called The Cuckoos. Robert hopes to incorporate Graham's talent a lot in future recording.
