Only a true KISS fan understands the magic KISS creates. It's first and foremost the music, but after that gets you, it draws you into a whole different world. KISS is an escape, a fantasy world...an obsession. They are always there if you need them...and they've been with me and my husband for 26 years and counting...
...and for anyone who terrorized me in high school for liking them...oh my god!!!...they never went away did they...?!!
7/11/02 - (thoughts)...take this as our tribute and always appreciate KISS for what they were but...with heavy heart...we cannot continue to take them seriously with the events of the last couple of years. We love the collectibles and some of the non-original members but we fell in love with the music and it's become just to much of a soap opera. We'll call the soap "Psycho Circus". This page is dedicated to the memory of KISS as a band not a commodity. Crank up Alive! and feel it baby!!... 2/14/04 - (more thoughts)...call me a freak...yes, I saw the KISS/Aerosmith tour both times it came to my hometown. Like I've said, it's an obsession. Even my husband couldn't bear to do it the second time. I just can't know that KISS is in town and not go. Probably left over from the misery I felt when they were in town and my mother wouldn't let me go...!!! I managed to be closer than ever this time...so close to Paul Stanley without paying unbelieveable amounts of money (which I will never do...). It was great...the magic never dies. I wonder sometimes if I'm totally insane...me and millions of others...I will say though that we do miss Ace...but they did kick ass! 9/27/05 - Totally back on the bandwagon and waiting for Paul's solo album and tour!!! Please, all KISS Army members and fans go to http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/Marchontherockandrollhalloffame/ and help with the fight to get KISS into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as they well deserve. It's gotten ridiculous!!!
