The Wannabe GroupieI was a music fan first and foremost. My greatest escape was listening to music and dreaming about meeting rock stars. The dreams got a little more intense as I got older (if you know what I mean). I may have been a bit of a prude or reality got in the way (i.e. I don't really know these guys...!) but I never acted on it. Sometimes the fantasy is better than the reality and throught the years, I have met real groupies and I really believe that I was correct in not pursuing the dream. Great thing is, it is still good in my fantasy land, plus I ended up marrying a guy who plays drums...
First Rock'n'Roll Love
This guy transitioned me from teenybopper to young woman. I only wanted to kiss Andy Gibb...I wanted to do a whole lot more to Paul Stanley...!!!
Sexiest Man In Rock'n'Roll
I'm not downplaying Paul Stanley but it is very hard to deny Joe Perry...to this day he is just sexy as hell!!! It would be X-rated to go into detail about his attributes and what I could do to him but suffice it to say that he looks better and better as we get older...!!
Sexiest Rock'n'Roll Gonzo Madman
Ted is just soooo cool and built and not drug ridden...and he's had that beautiful hair (and ass!!!) all along. Just look at the back cover of "Weekend Warriors" and try to tell me he's not gorgeous...!!!
Sexiest Cutie with a Voice to go with it...
Robin Zander is so Cute...and has such a sexy singing voice. There is definitely something about him...I still melt when I see him...he is the only one from this page that I have actually met. It's funny how when something like that happens, you regress to the age you were when it was most intense. I was a major Cheap Trick fan in high school and had little pictures of Robin all over my head board of my bed (I was 15/16, what can I say...!?). When I was 27, I went to Hammerjack's(the best...!) in Baltimore to see them. I parked behind the club in my usual spot, saw the tour bus sitting there like I usually did when I went there...but this time someone was standing outside talking to some girl. Oh my god, bet you can't guess who it was...The girl I went to the show with was a buddy from high school so she was no better off than I was...I suddenly felt like I did when I was 15 years old. It was unreasonable, but my 27 year old brain managed to take over and I marched right up and said "hello" and gushed about what a fan I was and he was very nice. It was probably no more than a couple of minutes and he excused himself to get ready for the show. My friend barely even manage to mutter a word but still had the thrill of her life as I did. It was definitely one of the best shows I have ever seen. What a dollbaby...it was also the first time I had seen him in black leather...
