Record Breaking Attempt to Scoot from Lands' End to John O' Groats for the Gift of Sight Appeal.
Publicans Clive Mansell and his son Andy, staff, friends and a group of other pioneers hope to be the first to scoot from Lands End to John O'Groats on push scooters in aid of Gift of Sight. Setting off from Lands End at 8.00am on Monday 28th February 2011 the team hope to be in John O'Groats at 4.00pm the following Saturday.
The route they are taking is Lands' End to Bodmin - Bodmin to Crediton - Crediton to Sidcot - Sidcot to St Weonards - St Weonards to Shrewsbury - Shrewsbury to Ashton on Lyme - Ashton on Lyme to Stainton - Stainton to Gretna Green - Gretna to Abington - Abington to Glasgow - Glasgow to Glencoe - Glencoe to Alltsigh - Alltsigh to Evelix - Evelix to Wick - Wick to John O' Groats................................. and home again!!
