The 4 scooters crossed the line at John O'Groats. CONGRATULATIONS................ a magnificent achievement. The teams are jubilant and tired.... returning to the Norseman Hotel at Wick for a well deserved hot bath, rest and beer or two!!

Friday 4th March 2011 - 1100hrs
Team B scooted for 11 hours, covering 95 miles from the West of Scotland to the East Coast.... Inverness came and went, the team is ahead of schedule. At 6 O'Clock this evening the teams were at Wick, recharging their batteries for the final push to John O'Groats in the early hours............

Gemma, Hannah and Alex 2 have now joined the 'scoot' and the journey has now taken them to the Leisure Centre at Carlisle, where the teams have showered and cleaned themselves up!!
Tuesday 1st March 2011 - 2230hrs
Team B have just arrived in Ludlow, Shropshire - there were a few hiccups as the teams entered Wales, as the motor vehicles took the Severn Bridge, and the Scooters took the Avon Bridge. All turned out well when they found each other again.
Next stop Manchester, hoping to arrive at 0600hrs on Wednesday 2nd 2011
Monday 28th Feb 2011 - 2200hrs
Team B have just scooted past Crediton, 3 hours ahead of schedule......... they are all jubilant, in good spirits!! Team A started at 8am this morning. Bub's went first, Alex second, Becky was to follow, Andy G, Stuart and Mike all followed after the first three.... awsome effort Team A - they reached Crediton ahead of schedule.
Some of the support team, inc Ailsa from the Gift of Sight Appeal, who had driven to Lands' End to see off the teams!
This is the team at 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon, blue sky and blowing a gale at Lands' End.... the lovely people at Lands' End kept the post up especially for us, as we were running slightly behind schedule - Ali drove through Winchester with Clive's Iphone on the roof!!

We are now settled in the Travelodge at Hayle, the team are resting - Clive is going over the last minute details and dinner is at 7.30pm... early to bed, as we are departing Hayle for Lands' End at 7.00am tomorrow morning.......
