Note from the webmistress- The guys have only agreed to this section as long as questions don't get too personal. No guarantees as to when they will be able to answer them as they are all very busy. I will make a note on the front page when answers have been posted. And for Ara, Donnie, Jim and Cameron just copy and paste the questions into an e-mail and send 'em our way! If another band member has answered the question already, don't be afraid to add your two cents and send YOUR answer and weigh in on what the other guy/guys have said! Thank you.
Respones from the guys will be in different colors.

One of the best things about Plank is their live show. Where does the energy you guys put into your live shows come from? Mainly our love for the music and the audience.
Cameron, the artwork on the new CD is amazing. How long did it take you to design it and where did the ideas come from for it?
What made you guys choose Face Off as the new single?
Now that Symmetry is done, how far do you guys think you've come with what you set out to do with it in the beggining? Did you accomplish what you were hoping for with the 3rd album?
What were your influences in writing the 3rd album? I think we were our own influence on this one. We were very happy with how Divisional came out and when it came time to start writing the next one we wanted to try, if possible, to better that album. To hone our writing and playing skills and make a full length CD that we could all listen to from the first note to the last and all feel we were proud of everything we did.
Cam I know you hate tellin people what your songs are about, but will you let any insight in to any of them? Your choice!!
I love track 13 on Symmetry. The Bleed works so well accoutic that I'm tearing up as I am writing this question. What made you guys record this song accoustic for the CD? Who's idea was it and what was the vibe in the stuido the day it was recorded? We got asked to do an acoustic set for our buddies at SpiderBite radio. This was a first for us but liked the way The Bleed came out we figured we'd give it another try for the CD. Think everyone pretty much wanted to do it, the vibe... nerve-racking! Everything sticks out acoustic wise.
How come you guys didn't list track 13 on the cd? It's a secret...! check the logo
Where did the name Plank 63 come from?Believe it or not it was written on a plank in the Basement we used to rehearse in. W e had a show offered to us and we had no name yet and no time to think of a wicked kool one.
How did you guys meet and form?Myself and Jim had been jamming together for years, the same for Ara and Cam. Jim had Ara come down to jam one night and Ara brought Cam along with him.
Does anyone play any other instruments then what they play in the band?
What influences you guys to write?
What influences you guys to play?
If you guys could go on a world tour with anyone who would you choose?
What are your favorite Plank songs to play? To listen to?
What CD's are in your CD players right now? Symmetry, I have to learn those songs!! :)
If you guys weren't in this band how would you be spending your spare time instead?
How far do you guys think you've come since your start? In my opinion, our writing has really matured a lot since the start. We've really honed our skills as a team and I think that Symmetry will show that.
What can fans expect from your 3rd CD? Really well written songs...still in the P63 style...yet different than Divisional.
How do you guys feel about the sucess of Patchwork, and all the records it has broken on garageband.com and how responsive people are to it? Did you guys know from the begining how special it was gonna be? That song actually came together fairly quickly. I think we knew it was going to be a good song when it was written but not as big as it's become. It's opened some doors for us and we're all thrilled that people like it. I think it'll be in our live set for a while! :)
Ara: you signed my setlist and wrote I am not a fish on it, and I don't get it. What did you mean by that? It means I am not a fish. I'm not...really. :)
Donnie, anyone ever tell you you got a wicked pissa bawstan accent? Actually no. I've been told I speak like a Hahved Professah!
Jim, what do you use on your hair to make it so purdyful and fluffylike? Cat Urine.
With the success of Patchwork, and all the fame and recognition it brought you guys from all over the world, it's so awesome how you guys have stayed so well grounded. I mean you guys have fans in Sweeden, Germany, Canada ALL OVER! How do you guys remain so down to earth and humble? We're simply thankful that Patchwork or any of our songs for that matter get are liked by so many. Our goal is to make music that people want to listen to so it keeps us humble when people enjoy it...especially those we have never met.
