being an outsider in a bright society
is easy when your marked with an unchangeable sign
and even though their filled with sadness and animosity
they hold up a smile and act like their fine

hundred years have passed and times hae changed
but never forgotten are those bitter names
that remind the victim of their forsaken past
and to this day racism still lasts

how ignorant must a person have to be
to keep hurting the face of humanity
to be stabbed in the back by a fellow human being
by a racist remark that has no meaning

our signs arent different but unique
cherish everytime you speak
and although slapped repeatedly they still stand with pride
because their influence on society will never subside

and although times have changed and it seems better than before
and smiles of equality are truly more
they spread their culture and couldnt be bigger
but to ignorant american their just another nigger
