NEWS:
March 6th, 2005 - We apologize for the lack of updates (and stories for that matter) in recent weeks. Both Landon and David have been busy in school and extra-curriculars. At the moment, Landon is finishing the next chapture of the
Untold Chronicles, and David is continuing his work on
Prince of Gondor, and also a series of short stories set in the
Half-Life universe.
It may be a while before
Agent of Hatred is published in our Star Wars section. The reason for its delay is that the story is very simplistic in its plot, and needs new ideas to remain compelling throughout the story. David does not want to release incomplete work to the public, or work that does not demonstrate his best possible effort. Therefore the publishing date for
Agent will remain "in the coming months."
As for the
Expositions section, more and more writing has been published, even on a weekly basis. Be sure to see this section of the website (as it now has more writing on it than this, our original section).
January 15th, 2005 - David Westfall has just published his latest story,
The Long Night, Chapter One of his
Prince of Gondor series. We invite you to read this Lord of the Rings short story, which David Westfall specifically geared towards the older, more eloquent language of Tolkien and the poetic style of the Homeric epics like
The Iliad. More will be added to this series soon, as well as a Star Wars short story,
Agent of Hatred.
January 4th, 2005 - Happy New Year everyone. Not much has been happening lately apart from David Westfall's continued work on various fiction writings. New work has been published in
Expositions, where David examines the role of religion in the public school system, and the effects of a secularized liberal agenda on the schools' students. Expect more from both David and Landon soon.
December 29th, 2004 - Merry Christmas to all, and God bless. We have new writing which will soon be published:
In keeping with his tradition of leaving previously announced projects to sit while he comes up with new stories, David Westfall is now working on a short novel set in Middle-Earth. The story, which will be called
The Prince of Gondor, shall follow the events that occured from the end of
The Two Towers through
Return of the King, strictly from the view of Faramir, son of Denethor. The story will be published in five "parts" over a period of several months. This interpretation of Tolkien, while utilizing some imagery from the films, will attempt to remain faithful to the literary works alone in terms of storytelling and plot devices. A new section for
Lord of the Rings fiction will be opened soon.
December 13th, 2004 - New writing has been added to the Expositions section:
Primitive Ancestors, or a Primitive Understanding, by David Westfall. He is now working on a large report regarding the historical claims made in Dan Brown's
The Da Vinci Code, and will be publishing his findings in the coming weeks.
Landon Savino is still working on the next chapter of the
Untold Chronicles, and will most likely be publishing soon.
