Welcome to "Seal Savers United", dedicated to informing the world of the despicable trade which has again arisen in Canada.
Just recently the so called "trend" of wearing coats made of seal fur has been raised in Japan and China once again. It is estimated that around 300 000 have been murdered (and I use that term very lightly) already, most being little babies, only 3 months old. Canada has been exporting and killing these poor defenceless creatures. "Why?" you say? I'd like to know too! Apparently they kill the younger ones for their softer fur... that's no excuse. This puts the survival of these seals into even more jeopardy, considering that if there are no young ones to grow up... they won't reproduce.
Please spread the word so we can all work towards the ending of this terrible work.
*NOTE: Sorry to all of the Canadians, Chinese and Japanese who are not in contribution to this disaster, we applaud you on your awareness :)
