Life in the Animal Farm

Windmill Begins
Recently we have started on something we are calling project windmill. This windmill has proves very significant on animal farm. It proves to all the animals that we can work together and survive just as well or better than humans. The windmill took much hard work and time to build. Although Snowball was the original leader of this project Napoleon has taken over and once again we are left with a commander more concerned with his own well being than the greater good of the community.

Unfortunately the windmill was knocked down and all of our hard work was lost and of course blamed on the one great leader we ever had, Snowball. Napoleon has already stated that we will not let snowball win, and we will start working on a new windmill as soon as we find the resources.

RAWR!!!
Mood:  irritated
Napolean is great!!!! We bow down to him!! He's taught us to be so ferocious and tough!!! We have grown so big and our teeth are sharp and we are prepared to attack!! Yesterday we chased that jerk Snowball down and out of the farm! No one messes with Napolean and whoever does has to face us!! It was so fun to attack!! We are so angry, we were such wusses before.

Napolean the new leader
Mood:  surprised
Hello. This couple of days have been interesting. First Snowball unveiled plans to create a windmill. I'm not exactly sure what a windmill is, but it sounds like a lot of hard work...

Snowball and Napolean have been having something called "debates". They never seem to be able to agree on one thing. It is rather confusing since they both have good points. I don't know who to really believe.

Later on however Snowball was chased out by a pack of vicious dogs. We have never seen these animals before... well thats what we thought. These were the dogs that Napolean took away some time ago. They have grown... I am scared. They are saying Snowball was a traitor and that he was working for Jones all along... I'm having trouble believing that. But I don't know what else to think.

Napolean the Great!
Mood:  bright
la-di-da! things have gotten better here on Animal Farm. we still miss our mother, but Napolean is just great. He's been teaching us so many interesting things. there's this one thing he taught us, called the "Seven Commandments". it's basically rules for the farm. He's the greatest. we all have really learned to love him. he's been so kind.
sometimes though, he likes to make us fight. it's fun, we just wrestle. but last week, one of my brothers really bit me hard. i fear my brother is becoming strangely ferocious. hmmph, i dont know. i just hope it isnt a regular thing.
anyway, Animal Farm is spectacular. even though we're holed up in here, it's better than doing all that work that the other animals do. Napolean says that we're destined for big things. i can't wait to find out what he means.

Battle of Cowshed
Mood:  sad
Hi again. So far the Rebellion has been going extremly well. The song "Beasts of England" has been traveling from farm to farm. I am so excited! Maybe all humans will be removed from England and only animals shall remain.

In October however Jones and some of his men tried to retake the farm. A battle soon followed. Snowball valiantly led the attack. It was scary.I did as much as I could but I was scared and when I saw them starting to advance upon us I too ran. A fake retreat was part of the plan... Snowball led a second strike with the larger and stronger animals. Jones shot Snowball!! But he was only wounded, a sheep took the bullet though. He died. The sheep was given an award. So was Snowball. The farm remains ours! Victory!

The Darkness of the Attic.
Mood:  sad
Now Playing: the bluebirds chirping.
hello comrades!

my name is olivia! i'm a tiny brown chihuahua with big funny ears. here is a photograph of myself:

there's me lounging in the fine green grass on a lovely day. shortly after we were weaned off our mother's milk, still at a ripe age, my sisters and brothers and myself were rudely taken by our leader Napolean from my beautiful mother Bluebell. Napolean was very mean to me and handled us very roughly. he spoke that he would make it his responsibility to educate us. we don't like him very much though. one of my sisters said he "brainwashes" us, whatever that means. she is a smart one.
anywho, he holed us up into this...loft, all nine of us, and its very high, and none of us can climb the ladder which is the only way down, so we're kinda caged up here. we never see the beautiful light of day like we used to, and we miss our mother very much. my brothers and sisters are very confused, so i tell them just to keep calm. one day, we'll get out of here for sure.
at least we have each other.

Beasts of England
Mood:  celebratory

That is me, my name is Rebecca I'm a pig. The rebellion has been going incredibly. All the freedom that we have acquired gives and amazing sense of accomplishment. Jones has been excommunicated successfully and we have full reign of the farm and the opportunity to flourish as a free and developing community.

As a pig, and of course one of the more intelligent animals i feel a great deal of responsibility to educate the less fortunate and less educated about how important this rebellion is. Mollie for Example is still stuck in Jone's time and cannot quite assimilate as quickly as the others.

Freedom
Mood:  a-ok

That is me. My name is Ashley. After the speech by Old Major (which I slept through most of.) We were immediatly broken up by The Man Jones, and the firing of his gun...

Old Major died three days later. His great body was buried under a tree. My mother told me he died peacefully...

The Rebellion was put into motion a few days ago... we are all now free. Freedom... what a great concept. No more Humans... We will all have to wait and see how this turns out...

Ash~
