Actors:
You know and love them all...except the one's that you're supposed to hate.
you've seen them during presentation shows, awards ceremonies, and even in
your favorite soaps.
What you might nt know is that for every episode, your favorite actor had
to memorize 20-30 pages of script and take direction as to where they stand,
what they're oing and how to do just that...act.
...and you thought acting was easy...hmph!
Directors:
Ok...so you're in charge of the show...you call the shots...you're the big
honcho...Great!
Now trying to do all of that while keeping the Actors happy...and the Writers
happy...and the commercial-people happy...oh, almost forgot...
If you mess up...the viewers aren't happy either.
then...
YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!!
TV Writers
When you write for TV, you'd better know your stuff. Depending on what shows
you write for, you might just be part of a huge team. Easpecially when you
write for a comedy. It's tough to make people laugh. Imagine telling an original
joke or two...or thirty every single episode and see if you don't become an
alcoholic too!
Just Kidding...
Don't kill me..
Argh!!!!
Commercials:
Love them or hate them...they're there forever!
These are what pay for your favorite show to be on the air at all.
And you thought that TV was out there just for your personal amusement?!?
Hey...someone's gotta pay for those Actors, Directors and Writers...not
to mention the camera crew, the lighting, the makup people, the costumers
etc.etc...
