two things to talk about. we finally payed another visit to stream of studio and got all the drums down. it will probably be a good month or two before this thing nears completion, but we'll keep you updated. second thing is we've been added a really awesome show on the 10th of may and we're all looking forward to it, so come out and look forward to it with us. see you there, (here).
update time. well motionless, who are they? where have they been? we couldn't tell you, but they're comming back. we are planing on devoting a lot of time to recording in the next few weeks. we should have it done by the end of april, meaning we probably wont have it done till late june...or maybe never? who knows, anyways hopefully we'll have somthing to show the world soon. we have two shows in june, that's a pretty long time away though, so if you really wanna see us then book us for petes sake. lastly, adam has now become a member of the the lead hour adding his masterful shredding skills to their band. check them out, they're cool guys and now 1/2 of their band is or has been a member of motionless. kinda funny. but we'll keep you updated about recording and stuff...and maybe more shows?...soon?

well my computer was down for a few days but im back with it again now. i'll start this update with a pretty big announcement, if you we're in attendance at the last motionless show (rumford RI, if you missed it than you missed a good time) then you may have wondered to yourself, "who is that incredibly gorgeous addition to the band?", "what is his phone number?", "is he single?", "why does he rock so hard?" or all of the above. well we can answer these questions for you. yes, we have a new member, he plays synth and anything else with keys or nobs in the band. his name is jay penman, he's a good kid, he is single, and i guess he knows what he's doing. okay, he doesn't, but none of us actually know how to play anyways (if you were at that show maybe you picked that up also, or maybe you were too mesmerized by jays devilish good looks to notice). anyways we do have another show comming up, march 14th, come. it will be a gas and a half. links are also updated, go there and click on stuff. i think that pretty much covers it, i'll be updating the site soon, we're all gonna fill out some new bios and get a picture of jays head up at the top of the page. pretty long update i'd say, but i think it was necessary, congradulations if you made it all the way through, but i doubt anybody will make it this far anyways. oh and about his number, you'll just have to ask him for it.
well its been 5 months so i figure it's time to start updating again. since 5 months ago not that much has happened. we've played a few shows and written a few new songs. we still haven't recorded yet but we are going to end of this month, honest. We have two show comming up as of now, next one being an awesome one that you must come to. Check out the shows section and the Tor Johnson Records site for more info. added a crapload of words that have been missing from the lyrics section for some time now. read them, and be a better person for it. I also kinda jazzed up the site a bit, just a bunch of little things, see if you can find any of the changes, if you do you win a prize. possibly a brand new car, or perhaps just contentment with the fact that you found the changes, yeah, that sounds like a good enough prize. forget the car.
information for the show on october 4th has been added. the bios page was also fixed and updated a little bit, check that out if you feel so inclined.
well, i guess now isnt the greatest time to say this but last nights show ended up getting changed around and ended up at linas roast with the ames curve and the secret channel (who were both incredible), sorry for the confusion. any who, it was a great show and a great time despite the fact that adam had to get stiches after a brutal brawl with his amp head, and that we almost collapsed the ceiling in, but thanks to all who came. shows section updated for oct. 4th. awesome. oh and the booking address will also now be 'motionless8099@aol.com' because of crap i'm going through with my mail server.
heres the news for now: we are playing this friday at linas again, should be a fun time, make sure you come cause it's free and that's awesome! secondly we have developed the plans for our release a bit. so far we know that it will be a split between us and the defeat and that it will also be a split release between tor johnson and just kidding records. we have some big ideas and it looks like it will be turning out to be quite a release. we will talk about this more in the future as we finish recording. the photos section has also been updated so go check that out.
okay, it's final now, we are playing two, count 'em two shows at lina's roast. the first we are playing will be on july 26th (friday) with our friends the defeat. next we will be playing august 9th. Were sorry for all the confusion and date changes, but it looks to be solid now, and they are both free, so you have no excuse not to come. we also began recording last night, it may take longer than expected, but expect a release from us late summer-early fall.
there are three things that are presently of high importance with the 5 motionless lads. First we wanna say thanks to everyone who came out to the battle of the bands last night, and if you missed us we came in 3rd place due to pigs and politics, but it was still a great time. this leads us to the second landmark on the road of motioness which is recording. with the prize money that we got and some other extra dinero we should be recording soon. and lastly the lina's roast show in franklin has been confirmed for the 2nd of august. come show your support, cause it's only us playing.
the show at Lina's Roast in Franklin has been postponed to a later date in July, we will report the date as soon as it is concrete. it's not too late to buy tickets to the battle of the bands july 12 at the mansfield holiday inn. e-mail members of the bands playing or go directly to the Mansfield Police Department for tickets.

there is so much to be told in motionless land. first off we have lost a member and gained a new one. our old guitarist, joe lindo, left the band to persue other projects, but with his leave adam tedeschi joined the band. With this change motionless has changed quite a bit. our message, our sound, and our styles have all progressed into a brand new assemblage of energy and revolution. shows section has been updated. we expect to be recording in mid-july, and this time we mean it. so stay tuned and expect much more from motionless.
