Cup of Failure
Drink of this cup
that stands so tall
but be wary;
it will show your fall
No matter what you do
life is untrue
no matter where you hide
you will die
Yet while you're living
there are things you can do
things you can attempt,
and fail at, too
because everyone fails
at whatever they do
their shame is a gale,
nothing new.
The only true failure
is he who does not learn
that for every failure
there is a burn
Each burn recieved
will leave a scar
to be relieved
you must be on par
by the time you die
you're one large scar;
a collection of pains,
no longer who you are
Don't blame me
for what you see
the choice was yours
to drink from this sea
of failure
