What the future might bring

I foresee growth in the Computer RPG market over the next years. Systems well become more powerful, and the virtual worlds created will become closer to the reality of our games.

The pen-n-paper market will continue to have its tides, as new products and thought enter and intrigue the next generation of gamer. And then as the stores get filled with a glut of books, it will cool off once again.

On the video game front, being able to show a personality to others online will continue to improve each year. And someday someone will mix the fascination of simulated living in the great game "The Sims" with an online engine that runs smoothly, and then the next generation of RPG's will arrive.
