WIT, WISDOM, and STUPIDITY

WHAT?!?!?! How dare they! Zelda II does not deserve to get a 2.3 out of 10 in the sound category! That game had the fricken best sound ever out of any stupid Zelda game (except Ocarina/Maj.Mask, but let's not go there.)! I mean, they switch up the music a bit and mix it so that you come off with 5 or 6 entirely new songs that are written in 6/8 and 4/4 time, instead of the boring old songs that were in the first game. Geez! Those songs are incredible for having TWO STUPID CHANNELS! Think about it, that's like two instruments playing an entire concert. It's really incredible.
And another thing, low replay value? I mean, come on, the game's almost an RPG! There are levels and stuff, and items that increase your levels, but what about the action part? The levels have a limit, so you can't just sit there and get to level 1000 and win. You have to have mad skills to beat that game, no joke. And once you've finished, the game is fricking huge! You'll definetely want to play it again, if just for the music. In fact, I am going to come out and admit that Zelda II is better than the SNES one, A Link to the Past. I know, ALTTP is a really great game, but it's just not as good as Zelda II. I mean, I can beat ALTTP easily! Zelda II has real challenge for a Zelda game, and that's why you don't hear about it often. I mean, how many of you can't beat a Zelda game with the player's guide? Zelda II was just too hard for those wusses who buy the Player's Guide before the actual game.
I mean, just everything about the game is amazing. It totally made a new mold and that shattered it when it was done, which was a mistake in my opinion. Zelda II is the only game of it's type that I've seen. It's like a puzzle-platformer-RPG-adventure deal! Fighting too, the only genre's not represented are shooting and racing, and if Zelda was set it present time you know he'd have a kicking gun. I just think it's an outrage that Zelda II is so disliked. Yeah, punks, go get some skill and then play the game, the only reason you don't like the music is because you never got to hear anything but the music in the NORTH PALACE!
This has to be pretty odd for those of you who don't have or haven't heard of this game, but you seriously need to go and buy an NES just for it. In fact, I'm gonna go play it now. Death Mountain, man, I can't think of a harder gauntlet! Except for the final dungeon in that game, of course.
And now, steam has run out for Ben. He has totally justified his position. Man, it felt good to write this one.
