The Gunslingers are an ancient group of warriors who were charged by the gods of their homeland, Irendi, to keep the peace between the clans. They were given magic powers in order to do this. Also the gods saw it fit to bestow a very deadly tool to the Gunslingers, weapons that can kill from great distances, the guns, an advantage due to their numbers (only ten sets of these guns were created for a long while). The guns of the Gunslingers have several unique abilities. For one they increase the potency of magic cast by their owner, they can never fire on another Gunslinger, they absorb the souls of their victims, and they bond with their owners over time. The Gunslingers are given ranks according to performance and time acquired. The tests for new rank are often difficult for certain people depending on their morals. There are eight levels, or Khefs, and only one person in the clans history made it to Eighth, a man know as Cotton_G8, he led the Gunslingers throughout his life and died fighting against superior numbers. The clan was decimated in a war against a cruel and opposing clan known as The "K". Only one Gunslinger survived this battle. Later in the years, the Lone Gunslinger would go to a place called Tyran. It was here that he would see a few others get the gift of the guns bestowed upon them. His brother, would soon show himself to be alive as well as his uncle. It was at this time that Dethstryk, Sliverstryk, and Dreamstryk would make a whole new batch of Gunslingers. They put fear into this small land for some time. A woman by the name of Lady-Steele would become a Gunslinger as well. It was not too long after the Stryks would appear with guns that Dreamstryk would see a woman by the name of DarkBattleAngel, he would be so impressed with her abilities that he took her to his nephew and told him of what she could do. This woman would then be accepted as an Apprentice to Dethstryk and be renamed Lady-Magus, as she became also embraced by the Magus'.

Dethstryk, at this time told the Gunslingers to go into clans and protect all. The Gunslingers and their fearless leader were very much respected. They rose to be very powerful and loved by all of the land for what they stood for. Then, by an ill twist of fate, Dethstryk would lose his life for the first time. After that he never was the same. It had seemed he had fell from the greatness he once held and he had lost the respect of his fellow gunmen. The Gunslingers started to fall apart and he eventually disbanned them. Sometime later, the Gunslingers would be brought back. This time, with a new generation as well as the old. LadyMagus' son Saijinstryk would be part of the new, also a man by the name of Snyper.....then Chaos. This time, Lady-Magus and War-Magus would mainly be in charge of the slingers. Dethstryk had went back to Irendi. Lady and War would watch over the Gunslingers and perhaps, make them the best that they had ever been. They were respectful, large in numbers, and they kept in tradition. All would seem well until the land decided that the Gunslingers were no longer welcome because they refused to put down their guns. Most of the Gunslingers were forced to leave the land at this time. A few chose to break their links, though. Among those that kept their guns were Dethstryk, Xeniastryk(LM), Imbristryk, Winter, Saijinstryk, and a few others.

Only coming for brief visits from Irendi to Tyran, the Gunslingers strived to keep family relations. It became harder to do so as time went on. It was not until years later, after Tyran fell, that the Gunslingers would make their return. The land they once called home, was now gone. They would go to a new land.......a land called Tyrant. Snyperstryk would bring them to this land. A new breed of Gunslingers would arise under Snyper's watch. Dethstryk was no longer around, in fact he had not even been seen in the new land. Snyper knew what he had to do....the Gods told him. He immediately started getting Gunslingers together. Some of the old ones would begin to show. Now, together, the fearless Gunslingers try to make right what had went so wrong. They are currently trying to regain their respect and get back into the tradition of things. Snyper, Xenia, and Saijin who had returned after being captive for many years under the control of the "K". The reign of supremity the gunslingers held this time was short lived, why? Was it the leaders, the clansman, or fate. One would never know. The gunslingers fell once more, one by one. Saijin refused to follow the ways of this new breed, he was loyal to his Grandfather Dethstryk and would always stand by his tradition and never would follow a changed set of rules. He split away from the gunslingers as well as many others. Saijin kept his guns, the guns Cotton once weilded, fate had their own plans for this slinger.

Most of the slingers gave their tags a rest, those who were not stripped, kept their guns which were few. Saberstryk, NightSinn, Saijinstryk, Dethstryk, Cottonstryk would still have their pairs they had began with, whether they rejoined or not was under  their own contemplation. Saijin rose to power, given the rights by Cotton and Deth, they had faith in their grandson and had always held him in high respect as he gave them, fore he was always loyal to them. Gunslingers would retake their place they once held in the group, followed by newcomers who had high potential in the field under the Guidance of a higher ranked. Could the Gunslingers once more rise up as they were so long ago, or would they crumble insignificantly as when every other leader has tried and failed, only time would tell...
