Tenelia Jae. Lady Tenelia Jae. Hero Tenelia Jae. Anyway you put it, she will be remembered forever more. She is one of the Three who saved Rivendell 7,000 years after the War of the Ring. She is one of the many who gave her life to keep her beloved home safe, though she always had a way of 'bouncing' back to life.
Tenelia was born to Efnar, an Elf of Rivendell, and Jaelina, a human of Gondor. She was the daughter of an affair and never met her mother. Jaelina died giving birth to her only child. Efnar, writhing with grief, brought his daughter back to Rivendell and could not bear to tell his Lord about the birth of this child. Lord Elrohir, however, found out eventually about Tenelia's mother, but never mentioned it to the grieving Efnar. Though Elrohir did not approve of the illigitamate child, not fully at least, he let her play with the only other children her age in Rivendell. The young Ladies Noonishki and Devash, the twins.
As Noonishki, Devash and Tenelia grew, their friendship blossomed. They were always together and were rarely apart. The rift that seperated them was when suitors were allowd into Rivendell. Noonishki was by far the prettiest of the three and she gained most of the attention, and then Devash and last, and most of the time the least, was Tenelia. None of the male Elves that came to Rivendell wanted anything to do with the half-Elf commoner that hung around with the two young Ladies. Tenelia was often left behind when the young men from Mirkwood came. The only one that ever paid any attention to the young half-Elf was Felinian, an Elf of Mirkwood. He paid attention the the girl 1,000 his junior. Tenelia was glad to have gained the attention of another and played games with his mind, even though she truely enjoyed his company.
After many years, the Queen of Dale sent her two young children, Krune and Rikland, to Rivendell to hide them from their tyrannical father. There they grew and befriended the Three. However, when the eldest, Krune, was eighteen, he left Rivendell. He was an egotistical man who wanted what was good for himself and for Dale. He truely loved the land he was to rule over one day and cared more for it than for Rivendell, the place where he had been brought up. His younger brother, Rikland, however, stayed in Rivendell for many a year.
When the threat of Sauron arose once again, Tenelia was sent to Ireland with her father to live there. She had been given spell induced amnesia and mortality, making her a small child once again. Efnar 'married' and Irish widow with a young son to watch over Tenelia if anything should happen to him. And it did.
After Tenelia and her father had lived in Ireland for five years, Efnar was greatly injured by the Nazgul who had hunted him down and Tenelia was cursed. A Hellhound haunted Tenelia through all of her mortal life and ito her immortal life. Six years later, when Tenelia was eleven, she was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was overjoyed to be leaving the stepmother and stepbrother who hated her so much. She only had to see them during the summer holidays and she was just fine with that.
In Tenelia's Seventh year at Hogwarts, she met fifth year Avery (Devash) and sixth year Noonishki. The three became fast friends, again, and soon left their school in search of Rivendell, their home. After kidnappings, stabbing and the occasional appearance of the Hellhound, the Three made it to Rivendell at last where Noonishki fell sick. In the time of Noonishki's illness, Tenelia found her true history and her father once again. She met with the young Rikland, now only a few years older than how old she had thought herself. She also met Felinian again who, before she knew her history, offered to give up his immortality to be with her.
After two wars and a kiddnapping, Tenelia, Noonishki and Devash live at peace in their home of Rivendell. Tenelia married Felinian soon after Sauron had been defeated and, ten years later, bore him a son, Cesare j'Lein. A year after that, Deirdre Kaialin, the daughter of Tenelia and Felinain was also born.
In these new times, another, and far more dangerous threat has arosen. An angry deity, has escaped from imprisonment and posses a new threat to the Three. However, this time they do not only have their lives to protect, they also have the lives of their young children to save and keep pure.
After many long years on Middle Earth, though not nearly as many as the Elves in her past, Tenelia left for the far Havens across the sea. She left with Devash, Noonishki and her husband. She looks to the east everyday, often times staring longingly back in that direction, regretting leaving her children behind. They were truely her life and she knows she may never see them again. They had to live on in Rivendell, protecting it until, perchance, the Elves returned to Middle Earth. She does not know how many agaes would go by until she can hold her children once again. She does not know what evils they will see before she lays her eyes on them once more. Each day has become bittersweet.
