Three children grow in Rivendell fair,
Two of Lord Elrond's blood,
The other Elendili, by no means the least.
A threat is rising in the East,
And the Children must go their seperate ways.
Night stays in Rivendell fair,
Gold finds no freedom there,
And Fire settles on the Isle of Eire.
They meet again in an unlikely place,
And come to Rivendell fair as can be,
Where the truth becomes known to the children three.
To the North they must go,
And defeat the threat that resides there.
Winter falls and snow flies on the breeze,
One child in seclusion, the others free to roam.
They meet with adventure, battle and friends new,
They are not many friends, but true,
They help Night fight her way free.
Night is hurt in a Tower fell,
Where she is, Gold can not tell,
And Fire, now Charcoal, is in Hell.
A great battle comes to the times ahead,
The enemy of the land defeated at last,
The horror covering the land will come to pass,
And the enemy's spirit will leave in haste.
The land is free once again.
Light returns to the land,
Peace and freedom spreads fast.
The three return home and are loved by all,
Their tale is across the land and many believe it tall,
Their home is safe, a new age begins.
Night, our Mistress, starts her reign,
Gold, our Lady, will remain,
And Charcoal, our Hero, overcomes her bane.
