Felinian, an Elf of Mirkwood, is a skillful hunter and tracker, having lived in the woods of Mirkwood most of his life. He knows the forest of Mirkwood and the land surrounding Rivendell like the back of his hand. Felinian grew up among the trees of Mirkwood parentless and raised by the kind Elves his parents had known. However, Felinian became an outsider to the community on his own will. He would stay away from the safe caves for days on end, even after he had heard rumors of the shadow in the North.
This Elf moved to Rivendell when he heard that the Three were returning home after 16 to 18 years of being away from their home. He had known them, but only breifly, before they were put in the human world, and had grown sweet on one of them, Tenelia. He doubted that she would remember him, but he had to try and make her remember. He didn't know what he would do if he lost her.
When Tenelia first showed her face in Rivendell, again, she was more beautiful than he could imagine, but she had changed. She appeared happy and blithe, but there was a pain in her eyes that he wanted so to cure, but did not know if he could. It was the Hellhound that tortured the Half-Elf and it was the Hellhound that had darkened her hair and eyes from their original brightness. Her now dark-red hair and deep grey eyes enticed Felinian to get even closer to Tenelia, even if she did resist. He knew her past and her race, but he had to play along with her knowledge until the Lord of the House told her who, and what, she was.
After a whirlwind romance, Tenelia and Felinian were wed and both were very happy. After ten years of marraige, Tenelia bore him a son, Cesare j'Lein. The boy had the blonde hair of his father and the stormy grey eyes of his mother. He was their world. Soon after Cesare's birth, about a year, actually, Tenelia found she was pregnant once more. This time, she gave Felinian a daughter, Deirdre Kaialin. She looked like the human half of Tenelia with heavy red hair and eyes of green She looked like a perfect little Irish girl, except for her delicate pointed ears. Felinian could not love anyone more than he loved his family and he would have gladly given his life for any one of them.
Soon, Felinian grew tired of Rivendell and wished to move his family back to his land, the forests of Mirkwood. Tenelia strongly disagreed and Felinian's hunting outing grew longer and longer. Tenelia knew her husband could not live in the valley that held Rivendell much longer, but she could not be seperated from her home. Her friends would not allow it. The children were six and five when Felinian grew restless, but they did not seem to sence what their father was going through.
After about thirty more years of unrest, Felinian left the shores of Middle Earth and travelled to Valinor, the Havens. He did not go alone, however, Tenelia left with him as did Noonishki and Devash. Aranel, however, stayed behind to set Rivendell in order for the children to take over. Felinian still stays away from his home for many days at a time, but it is not from unrest. Valinor is a new land to learn and holds many secrets Felinian wishes to discover.
