Ellanora spent her childhood roaming the forest of Lothlorien meeting the more respectable inhabitants and being shown as a lady along with her sisters in their turn. When she was in her twenties she met a male elf named Sinshell.
She immediately fell in love with this handsome tall elf with green eyes like daggers. Ellanora, Elly to her friends, would be shown to many noble men that would make great matches for her, but she had vowed to never love another besides Sinshell. Though always curt and polite to him, she yearned to feel his touch but she would never act on this feeling because she was very stubborn.
As a Lady, Ellanora was taught the arts of cooking, sewing, riding, dancing, and many other things all taught to her by her mother and one aunt (not to mention very degrading governesses). She learned many things because her father believed in educating daughters as well as sons.
Ellanora secretly married when she was in her 90's. No one including her best friend knew of it. She had no children by this marrage though it was a happy one. It was very short for soon her husband would be killed in raid. When she heard the news of his death she was devastated and would not talk for weeks.
Her parents never learned of her secret marriage so it was thought that she would become a batcholeurette forever. In order to find her a suitable match since she had found one neither in Lothlorien or in Mirkwood her parents sent her to Rivindell. There she would be introduced to the Mistress and Lady of Rivindell and soon become close friends with them.
Though she was to be looking for a husband she did not look because in her heart she knew who she would marry. She went home for a visit four months after she left and there she met Sinshell again. Sinshell, unable to conceal his love any longer, proclaimed his love for her and she proclaimed her's for him. Ellanora went back to Rivindell where she now lives and was soon followed by Sinshell. They were mairried right after the war of Edan thar Edel and six months later their first child, a boy named Zephariah, was born.
