Aluthina, Alu to her friends and family, was born in the forest of Mirkwood. Though both of her parents were Mirkwoodian Elves, she was born different; she had dark hair and green eyes instead of the normal light hair and light eyes of the other Mirkwoodian Elves. As Alu grew so did her beauty. Many Elves tried to gain her affection, but she seemed much more interested in other things, such as learning the art of healing. She acted as though she didn't have time for a long relationship. However, as soon as she met the Messenger Basilartiena, they became fast friends. Alu joined Basil on many of her journies. Alu became the "Unofficial Messenger of Mirkwood". Alu and her friend Basil underwent many frightful experiances. As they grew, the King's trust in Alu became stronger, and he would sometimes send her out on an errand, and Basil on a separate one. It was then that word of Sauron's return got out, and errands were becoming riskier and riskier. Aluthiana was on her way to Rohan when sounds of a fight attracted her attention. A wounded elf and a dwarf had defeated a troop of orcs. It was there that Aluthiana met Draurauk the Dreaded, the Demon in the shape of a wolf that aided Morgoth, and was then aiding Sauron. She was able to keep her wits about her, for she had read about Draurauk when she was a child. She escaped by chance that Draurauk caught wind of something more important, but she knew that since she had lived, he would always hunt her and want her dead. She knew he hunted the elf maiden that escaped him. Aluthiana met him on a few other occasions, but always managed to escape. She delivered messages quickly and was always cautious. However, when Mirkwood recieved news that the four Hobbits and the Ranger Strider (or Aragorn, heir to the thrown of Gondor) was headed for Rivendell, Alu was sent to sit in the Council of Elrond to listen to what was said and report it to the King of Mirkwood. The King sent his son, Legolas Greenleaf along with several others. It was then when she met the four legendary hobbits Meriadoc Brandybuck, Peregrin Took, Samwise Gamgee and the ringbearer himself, Frodo Baggins. They were the first hobbits she met, for she was only around 200 years old. Alu loved to chat with the hobbits, falling deeply in love with their polite and humerous responses. They formed a friendship, and Alu was sad to see them go. When Frodo returned to The Shire Alu visited the four hobbits twice. Years later, after the passing of the rings Alu visited The Shire often to see Merry, Pippin and Sam, and once, on her way back she met Fionnuala, a woman from Rohan. They became friends at The Prancing Pony, and Fion learned how Alu was a great Healer. So Fion told Alu about an Elf she found near death. Alu went to heal the Elf and found it was Basil's son, Ellartin, whom everyone thought was dead.
Soon after she left Lady Fionnuala, Alu returned to Mirkwood to find that her father, thinking she needed to be "married off" had forced her into a marrige with Mirkwood Elf Inkalin. Alu hated him, not so much because of how he acted, but because she was forced into a marrige with a complete stranger. She hated marrige and everything that came with it. Inkalin acted like a sick dog, always trying to give her his affection. Alu spent one week at Mirkwood after she found out that she was married, and only one night with Inkalin. She was given an assignment from King Thranduil and left immediatly. She returned to Mirkwood only for one day when she needed to deliver a message to her king, or recieve an errand from her King. Aluthiana gave birth to a son, Analen, in Rivendell, and she stayed there till he was four. At that point she recieved news that her husband was going to have her taken back to Mirkwood so he could see his son, so Alu packed up and took her son to Rohan, and then to Gondor. After ten years of Alu being at Mirkwood three times and only for a day, Inkalin grew up and eloped. When Alu found out she was ecstatic. Though many Elves promised her a happy life never again did she even consider marrige or a relationship.  When Analen was only twenty years old Alu found out the Draurauk still wanted her dead. Soon after she caught wind that Inkalin was returning to Mirkwood for his true wife (his other wife died). She left Analen in the care of Basil, and fled Mirkwood. After three years everyone assumed her to either be dead or to have crossed the Sundering Sea. Only Basil knew she resided in a well hidden remote deep in the wilds where no one except a lost Ranger would pass. Her art in healing increased greatly until she became one of the greatest healer in all Middle Earth, though no one knew since she lived her life alone with Basil's occasional visits. But soon Basil disappeared as well and Alu lived alone with Animals as company. She became friends with the doves and a wild horse the color of freshly fallen snow. Alu called her Geminga and the mare became Alu's new horse.
After Sauron was defeated by the Three((Aluthiana didn't know what became of Draurauk since he didnt surface with Sauron)), Aluthiana heard of Morgoth and rode to Rivendell; for the first time in 7000 years Alu left the remote area and came into contact with many Elves. In disbelief Rivendell guards wouldn't let her in, but Basil came to the rescue. As soon as Alu came to Rivendell she had to heal Tenelia, one of the Three, from a nasty broken and bloody foot accidently given to her by her horse.
Now Alu is helping Lord Aranel with healing duties, but soon her task will be much greater. Her knowledge of Dark times long ago will aid the Three as Morgoth begins his task to defeat all and enslave the world.
