Wisdom for the Ages.....
In a continued effort to battle the twin evils of Useless Foreign Phrases and Devil Worship (aka speaking french), I have decided to provide a daily (i.e. when I get around to it) German lesson.
 

Today's Lesson:

"Ich liebe dich"? Was soll der Unsinn?
 

Ich weiß nicht. Ich war selbst nicht im Begriff, um es zu benutzen.

"I love you"? What good is that?
 

I don't know. I wasn't going to use it.
 

That's all for today. And remember, learning phrases to help you pick up chicks in bars may seem like a good idea, but just see how far phrases like that get you in a POW camp.
