Wisdom for the Ages.....
In a continued effort to battle the twin evils of Confusing Words of Similar Meaning and Devil Worship (aka speaking french), I have decided to provide a daily (i.e. when I get around to it) German lesson.

Today's Lesson:

Unglück: Ein Franzoser fällt in einen Fluß.
Notstand: Jemand hollt ihn wieder raus.

Misfortune: A frenchman falls in a river.
Calamity: Someone pulls him back out.

That's all for today. And remember just because it is a misfortune for the frenchman who falls in the river, doesn't mean it isn't a blessing from god for the rest of us... so don't pull him out!
