Hello and Welcome to Monday

15th of April.

A normal day so far, did my little morning ritual which consist of letting the cats in, feeding the cats,
carrying cats around and trying to get them to settle before I leave for work.
I had a nice bowl of cereal for breakfast, vanillayoughurt, sunflower seeds and millet.
Yeah, I eat really healthy in the morning, but as the day progresses I tend to let it slide.
Oh well, thats the beauty of being me!

I work as a librarian at a high school.
Itīs a fun job but it demands a lot of you in terms of physical strength and mental strength
and just being there for students and teachers

It is ok tho, for me a full day is a happy day

Tuesday, okay!

16th of April.

Felt really tired this morning and the weather was dismal
I would have wanted to stay under the covers but I had to go to work.
Got a hug from a co-worker because I looked tired. Thanks Ann!
My day consisted of handling a lot of mail and having a Boss-Employee development conversation.
What a truly exciting life I live!

The best part of the day is going home to the cats
Ferris the Ferocious and Mouse greet me at the door and demand to be fed
"You, Human! Give me Whiskas or suffer the consequences!"

Nah, they aint that tyrannical :)
Usually they are quite sleepy and wanna be cuddled when I come home
Itīs a reminder that there is more to life than work

Thursday - Taking it easy

18th of April

Just had a lovely meal at the restaurant school.
For 50 krona you can have lunch at the "cantina".
This is one part of the schools "restaurant" education.
Today I had aubergine rolls stuffed with something delicious, rice and a tomato sauce
I am a vegetarian, but I do eat fish and eggs and dairy products
Well, letīs put it like this - I dont eat mammals.

I donīt eat meat cause I donīt like the texture and taste of it

Wednesday - work work work

24th of April

Started a new job assignment yesterday.
Spent most of the day thinking and writing

Attended a lecture about source checking
Most of it was old hat for me
but it was nice to just attend a lecture
I always liked that bit in school - it made me feel studious

Today I am working at the high school again
The book culling resulted in a whole table of books that were offered to faculty and students
to celebrate that April 23rd was the International world book day
There is still some cleaning and culling to be done
but this place is beginning to look like a library again
after months of neglect.
