Video Game Reviews: On The Run

Below are some short reviews by me

These are my opinions on games I have played and liked or disliked!

------------------------------------------------

Full Auto For Xbox 360

Full Auto has to be the fastest coolest car combat game out right now for 360. The graphics are smooth, every car looks detailed. You can shoot just about anything in your path. You can blow up things, play online, and even go into unwreck mode and get a second chance. Think Twisted Metal meets Burnout Revenge. The soundtrack is also pretty good, then there’s always custom soundtrack if you don’t like it. Overall Full Auto is a 360 game everyone should check out. It’s fun, easy to pick up and it’s very Destructive!

Destruction Is On The Way

25 To Life For Xbox

I know almost every video game website gave 25 to Life a bad score. The game is really not that bad though. I actually enjoyed it. The story was short, but it’s fun. The online play is great; you can customize your character with so many options. You can be a cop, or you can be a gangsta. The graphics look good, but not amazing like some 3rd person shooters. The Xbox version looks much better the PS2 one. How do I know this? I rented it on PS2 first, then bought the Xbox version. The graphics are a lot brighter and you can see things in the game better. 25 plays like GTA meets Socom. The soundtrack is mostly rap, but it’s all cool. The game is easy to pick up and it’s fun, once you get into it. So what are you waiting for playa? Let’s go shoot up the hood, before we spend 25 to life.

Let’s pop some heads and some dreads

8.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories For PSP

Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories is definitely the PSP game to buy! Think GTA3, but portable. All new story that ties in with the other GTA games, you play as Toni Ciprani. Fun missions, multiplayer modes (Not for online though) Another great soundtrack. Top-notch voice acting, no Micahel Madsen though, but that guy that does Toni’s voice sounds just as good. Rockstar knows what their doing and they never have disappointed me with any of their games. The game is easy to pick up and looks great on the PSP. If you own a PSP, this is the game you must have if you’re a GTA fan.

Toni my boy, I’m proud of you

10/10

Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland For Xbox 360

Tony Hawk is back once again, now with American Wasteland. This is Tony Hawk game #7. I’ll have to say I was a bit disappointed in the story mode. It just wasn’t that great. The game is still fun though, just like the rest of them. I just wish Neversoft would start making the games look next gen. THAW looks very cartoony, the characters just look ugly. THPS4 had the most realistic looking skaters in my opinion. The soundtrack is good, but some of the songs can get annoying. Thank god for the custom soundtrack opinion! Online play is fun, and it’s finally playable over Xbox Live! You also get Classic Mode once again! Which I enjoyed the most in THAW. The multiplayer is still fun and the game is great online. Plus there Lil Jon in the game! How much cooler can you get? What? Ok? So if you like the old Tony Hawk games, definitely try THAW.

Hey Skater Punk! Look out!

8.9/10

How to get rid of those damn Black Bars!

The Xbox 360 version is no different from the current gen versions. The only difference is the 360 version forces you into Widescreen mode. There is away to make it go away though. All you have to do is set your 360 console's setting to widescreen and then put the game in and your game will be in full screen mode. This will make the game easier to play, plus it fills up the entire screen. If you want to change it back, just put back full screen, but the black bars will be back if you play the game. King Kong, Gun, Condemned, & Ridge Racer 6 also force you into Widescreen mode. This method also works with those games.

------------------------------------------------

Need For Speed Most Wanted For Xbox 360

Need For Speed Most Wanted is one fast street racer! If you enjoyed the NFS Underground games, you’ll have a blast with Most Wanted. The game is super fast, tons of ways to style up your car, tons of cops to chase you. Best of all is the graphics, the cars looks so real! Ridge Racer 6 is great on 360 too, but NFS blows it away by its very realistic car models. The story is pretty good too; it’s like a street racer movie. If you are looking for a street racing game that’s fun, check out this game. I’m sure it’s great on all the other systems too.

Let’s Ride Down The Streets

9/10

------------------------------------------------

King Kong For Xbox 360

King Kong is one of the best looking 360 games I have played. The game is action packed, very realistic! Tons of dinosaurs in the game, great gameplay. Very good music and sound effects. Plus you get to play as King Kong and kill things. There are puzzles, and tons of unlockables. Best 360 game this year imo! I took 1 small point off, because the game freezes a lot.

Ladies and gentleman, I give you... KONG!

9.9/10

------------------------------------------------

Condemned For Xbox 360

Condemned is one weird game. I haven't beaten it all the way, but from what I've played it's good! Very dark game and really scary. You never know what to expect when you play this game. Some really good graphics too, everything looks pretty real. Doors, walls, you name it. Its one FPS game you must play on 360.

Be Prepared your in for a scare!

9.6/10

------------------------------------------------

Crash Tag Team Racing for Xbox

Crash Tag Team Racing is one cool racing game. Not only do you race, but there’s also plat forming too. The game looks and sounds great, and is a lot of fun. Think Mario Kart Double Dash, but faster. Great level design, all the Crash characters and some new ones. Fun multiplayer modes to play with a friend. No online play though, that would have been sweet. If you’re a long time Crash Bandicoot fan, you must check out this game. For $40 you can’t go wrong with Crash!

Go on Crash something!

9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Kameo Elements of Power For Xbox 360

Kameo has been through so many different systems over the years. First announced for the GC, then Xbox, now it’s finally on Xbox 360. The game looks great! It’s one of the best looking 360 games I’ve played next to King Kong. Everything is detailed to the max, tons of huge levels. Great characters, and top-notch voice acting. The best part I’d say is the music, it’s like Lord of The Rings, meets Harry Potter. It’s very action packed, and well done. The game is really easy to pick up, but very short. You can still go back and unlock all the extra stuff, but some of it can be a pain. The camera can get in your way at times, but overall I found the game to be good. One of Rare’s better games out now!

Now go fight that Troll Torn!

9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Perfect Dark Zero For Xbox 360

Perfect Dark Zero is not your average FPS. The game takes place before the old one of the N64. So it’s a prequel, not a sequel. The characters look terrible for a next-generation game. They all look so plastic, and have some of the worst voice acting I’ve heard in a game in a long time. The story goes no where, and the plot is just stupid. There are only 6 multiplayer maps; you can make them bigger though. The music is pretty good, and some of the environments look nice. The game play I didn’t care much for, the game is very slow paced, the weapons are pretty fun to use. I wouldn’t call this the killer-app on 360, but it’s good if you like these kinds of games. Overall the game feels very rushed, and doesn’t live up to the original in my opinion.

Joanna it’s time to go home!

6.9/10

------------------------------------------------

Raze’s Hell For Xbox

Raze’s Hell has to be this years best shooter for Xbox. Only $20 and it's a lot of fun. Game looks good, plays good and the characters are funny. You would think most games at a $20 price point would suck; this game is not like those. It rocks, and it’s also very very hard! I call the Kewletts Teletubies. You'll kill a lot of them in the game, their evil though lol. If you like Conker you'll probably like this one. The golf in this game is very sweet too. The online play is even better. It’s a must buy!

Let’s Raze Some Hell On Xbox 9.7/10

------------------------------------------------

Psychonauts For Xbox

I really like this Psychonauts game. The graphics remind me of Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas and James & The Giant Peach kind of. Characters are weird, odd, and ugly, but in a good way. Voices are very funny sounding too; this game is definitely a to buy if you like platform games. I don't know why Microsoft dropped this game? I think it's got a lot going for it; it's different and looks great. It's easy to figure out, and it's fun to play. PS2 version got delayed, but I'm sure it will be just as good as PC and Xbox.

Let’s Go Psycho For Psychonauts 9/10

------------------------------------------------

Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition

Midnight Club 3 has to be the best street racer out there. Rockstar has really improved over the past 2 titles. The game looks great, plays just right. You can customize your car. You can paint it, fix tires, add parts, there are some many different things you can do. There's tons of different songs to listen to, the Xbox version has custom soundtrack too so that's a plus there. Sweet online play, sweet cars. If you've got a PS2 or Xbox grab this one, it's a very sweet street racer! Blows away those other racers out there in my opinion.

Let’s Ride Downtown in my hot car 9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Area 51 For Xbox

We all remember the game Area 51 from the arcade; it was one of the coolest shooters out there. This game is nothing like that though, it’s a FPS and it’s got voice talent from Hollywood stars, and aliens of course. Some people hate the game, I happen to like it. The graphics look very nice, it’s easy to play. There are some very nice cut scenes in the game. Online play is fun, tons of maps to choose from. All in all it’s great game by Midway. If you like Shooters with that Sci-fi feel and the guy from X-Files Mulder, you’ll enjoy this game. No sign of a Area 51 arcade version in the game though :(

Dr. Winston Cray has something to say 8.8/10

------------------------------------------------

Doom 3 Resurrection Of Evil For PC

The demons from Hell are back again, this time with an expansion pack for PC. Game looks great and plays pretty much the same way Doom 3 plays. You’ve got a few new weapons, one is kind of like the gravity gun off Half Life 2. More demons to kill. More spooky things happening. Did I mention the little demon babies with wings? Oh my…. they scared the crap out of me when I was first playing. Graphics are very detailed and look great. The guy you play as this time is not the same guy from Doom 3. This guy has a very mean look on his face, he looks like he’s constipated too. There’s more multiplayer levels, and other things added to the game. It’s a great addition to the Doom franchise. If you liked Doom 3 and want more, then you’ll like this add on. Did I mention Hell is not so bad after all, there’s a lot of fire down there too. Watch out for the big boys, they pack a lot of fire power and they don’t play nice.

Parents Will hate Doom I like it 8.1/10

------------------------------------------------

Doom 3 On Xbox

Doom 3 has finally made it to Xbox! I also bought the PC expansion pack Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil Expansion for PC, you'll see that review later on. Graphics are just as good as the PC version in my opinion. Fast load times, unlike the PC version. Easy to use controls, great art direction! Sound is as good as could be. Graphics really push the Xbox to the limits. Multiplayer is same as PC version, run around shoot person repeat. The greatest thing about Doom 3 on Xbox is the CO-OP mode for Xbox Live. It is the best! Fighting Demons and going through Hell with a friend is so much fun. Now you both can scream and jump in fright together. One can even hold the flash light for you while you look for the way out of the room. The Collector's Edition is the bomb; it's got all the Old Dooms playable and a lot of special features too.

Doom 3 was meant to be on Xbox!

Doom 3 will make your heart beat so fast you'll cry for your mommy and sleep with the light on!

I give it a Demonic 8.9/10

------------------------------------------------

Twisted Metal: Head On For PSP

Twisted Metal: Head On has to be one of my favorites this year. It plays a lot like the older Twisted Metal 2 on PS1. The stories are all different and interesting to watch after you beat the game. Graphics are very nice, a lot brighter than Twisted Metal Black’s. Music is great; you’ll hear all kinds of cool stuff. What I liked most of all was the boss battles, there very tough and really make you think. Head On has online plays too, so that’s two thumbs up for me. Fans of the Twisted Metal series will enjoy this one. It’s one of the best PSP games to pick up this spring.

I hope they make more Twisted Metal’s for PSP too, because this one was a blast.

Did I mention Sweet Tooth kicks ass!

It’s twisted to the Max 9.8/10

------------------------------------------------

NARC For Xbox & PS2

NARC sounded like a cool game, and looked pretty fun from the video clips. I figured hey its $20, might as well give it a shot. The game is just boring and slow, graphics are what to be expected for a low budget game. You’re a cop and arrest people; you can do pretty much anything and even smoke some things that aren’t good for you. Music is pretty cool; I only heard one song playing though the whole time. The game plays a lot like State of Emergency. Tons of people run all over the place.

Some may like it; some may run home to mom about it. 5.2/10

------------------------------------------------

Tekken 5 For PS2

Tekken 5 has to be the coolest of them all. If you've got a PS2 buy this game. It has to be the best fighting game I have played on PS2. The graphics, sound, and everything is much better than Tekken 4. You also get Tekken 1,2, and 3 in the game too. There all the Arcade versions and play almost exactly like the PS1 versions. I really liked the cut scenes too, they looked really good. Lots of characters to fight with too, many old ones from the other Tekken games have returned too. There's no online play, would have been nice. There is 2-player modes and this extra game called Devil Within to play too.

The Japanese man says GOOOD 9.7/10

------------------------------------------------

Scrapland For Xbox & PC

Scrapland has to be one of the best futuristic robot games I have ever played. American Mc Gee worked on this one, his last game American Mc Gee’s Alice for PC was the best. This robot game will have you hooked. The graphics are very good, huge places to explore, very good music and best of all are the character designs I liked that best. There are also multiplayer modes for 2 players, no Xbox Live though. If you’re looking for a different game this year and for a good price of $30 check out Scrapland on Xbox and PC. It’s definitely one of the best robot games ever made, they really hate humans in this game too.

It's A Robotic Hypnotic Ride 9.3/10

------------------------------------------------

Devil May Cry 3 For PS2

Dante is back and still kicking. Devil May Cry 3 is a lot of fun, fans of the first two games will love DMC3. Most people didn't like the second game, I liked it though. This game takes place before the first two games. Great graphics, very sweet music too. What I really like is how the animation is in the game; the story line is also done very well. Very nice in game movies too. Capcom is doing a good job this year.

If you've got a PS2, pick up this one.

You won't be disappointed 9.8/10

------------------------------------------------

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath For Xbox

If you like Odd games, you'll like this one. It's one of the best Xbox games that I've played so far this year. The game is action packed, amazing graphics, tons of sweet weapons! If you liked the old Oddworld games, Stranger is for you. The story I'd say is the best part, and has quite a twist!

You'll have fun with this game it's odd, but damn cool.

If you've got an Xbox pick up Stranger 9/10

------------------------------------------------

McFarlane's Evil Prophecy For PS2

There are many bad games out there in this world, but the worst game that I have ever played in my life would have to be this game. McFarlane's Evil Prophecy the game is terrible! I bought it thinking it would be good, since McFarlane (Spawn Creator) has some really cool comics and designs very unique characters. Boy was I wrong, the game blows, just like that one game called Blowout (It really did blow too :P )It's like a bad Hunter The Reckoning, with no sound what so ever. The characters look very plain, and there is not one sound effect in the game. All you do is run and beat up creatures, which don't even make noises. You'd expect to hear swords clashing or weapon sounds, but nope there is nothing...only music playing that is being repeated over and over. The game is pitiful, one of the worst games I've ever played. It could have been so good, but they had to ruin it :(

Save yourself and stay away from this Evil Game

0.1/10 Yep that’s how bad it was

------------------------------------------------

The Punisher For Xbox, PS2, and PC

If you liked Max Payne 1 & 2, you'll love the Punisher. The game plays a lot like Max Payne, except it's more violent. It's one of the best comic book games that I've played this year. Spiderman 2 is also a good one, it's got a nice budget price now too. Fans of the comics or new comers will enjoy this game. It's action packed! Voice acting is top notch too, they did a good job on this one! :)

It's Pure Punishment 8.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Resident Evil 4 For GC

Resident Evil 4 is finally here, after years of hard work Capcom has done it again. Leon S. Kennedy returns in this tale of terror. The game is simply amazing, it has to be the most realistic looking game I’ve ever played on GC. The characters look so real and the voice acting is top notch. Nothing in this game is cheap at all; the sound is also done very well. Everything around you really sounds spooky and fits right in with the environment. The game is also very very gory! Heads will fly and you’ll see lots of blood. The controls are also improved from the past Resident Evil games. I never really had a problem with the controls though. One thing I also liked was not having to find ink ribbons like in the other Resident Evil games. All you have to do is walk over to a typewriter and click save easy as pie. The game does get very difficult though, the AI in this game are very smart. You’ll fight crazy villagers, chainsaw guys with potato sacks on their heads, other weird creatures, and enormous bosses that will make your head spin. Resident Evil fans will really enjoy this one, even though there are no zombies in this game at all. It still has that creepy zombie feel to it though. Only thing that I do not like about this game was the widescreen look of the game. Not everyone has a widescreen tv. I think the game would be a lot more enjoyable without those dang black bars blocking half the screen. After awhile you get use to it though, but still I think they should have made an option where the player can pick full screen or widescreen views. Overall Resident Evil 4 is another classic to add to the series. Be sure to check out Resident Evil Apocalypse the movie, that is probably the best videogame to movie I have ever seen. Tons of action and lots of characters from the games.

A thrill ride on the spooky side 9.9/10

------------------------------------------------

Half-Life 2 For PC

I bought the game not too long ago, but it wouldn't work right on my comp. There were a lot of bugs and freezes. Then I got surprised with the Collector’s Edition as an x-mas present. For some reason the DVD version (only 1 cd) worked great no bugs or slow downs like in the CD version I had. The game is simply amazing now that I can finally play it. The graphics are the best I’ve seen this year. The story is also very good, feels like I’m really there fighting in all the action. Gordon Freeman has to be one of the most determined people out there. He can take down just about anyone or anything in front of him. One of my other favorite things in this game was the way the characters looked, they seemed so realistic. They had facial expression and the voice work was top notch. Valve really did a fantastic job on this game, even though it took them 6 years. The sound effects in this game are so mind blowing. Best of all is how the game plays, it’s fun addictive and truly a work of art. Fans of Half-Life will really enjoy this one. Multiplayer mode is pretty cool too, I just think there needs to be some more maps. Overall Half-Life 2 will not disappoint FPS fans. It’s a must have! Can’t wait for the Xbox Version, if it ever comes out.

G-man likes this one 10/10

------------------------------------------------

Rumble Roses For PS2

Rumble Roses reminds me a lot of Def Jam Vendetta. The character models looks great, the characters look a lot like the ones of the DOA series kind of. The wrestling rings are pretty much all the same though. There’s one match where you can fight in mud, it doesn’t really look like mud to me though. Looks more like chocolate milk lol. Music in the game is pretty much crazy rock and roll, it’s all good though. Story mode could have been so exciting, but the terrible voice work killed it. Pretty much all you do is fight with each character and at the end you unlock an alternate version of the character you beat the game as. The multiplayer is pretty fun with a friend, but no online modes at all.

Rumble Roses could have been so much better, overall it’s an ok game.

Worth a rental I’d say.

Let’s Rumble 6/10

------------------------------------------------

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines For PC

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines has to be the coolest vampire game I’ve ever played. I’m not really a RPG person, but I did enjoy this one. It runs on the Half Life 2 Engine. Great music, voice work and easy to use controls. Graphics are very good too. It's a RPG game, but not those boring click ones. You can go into First Person mode and 3rd person mode. You actually control your character and run around and fight. Plus you don't have to read anything, the characters talk to you all you have to do is choose what you want to say back. You can pretty much do what ever mission you want. You can suck blood from people, get jiggy with prostitutes. There’s tons of different clans to choose from, what I liked best was the levels the details in them were sweet, nothing was cheap in this game. It’s a lot more exciting than the past Vampire The Masquerade game on PC.

I give it a bloodsucking 9/10

------------------------------------------------

Halo 2 For Xbox

Halo 2 the most hyped game of the past few years is finally here. Master Chief returns in this new adventure on Xbox. Graphics look very good, the levels are huge and the character models look fantastic. The music sounds kind of like Halo’s but remixed up a bit. I liked it though, sounded like monks chanting in a Cathedral or something. Controls are easy to use, the duel welding also makes the game a lot more fun. Holding 2 weapons and shooting down your friend is priceless. The vehicles still control kinda funny, but you get use to it after awhile. The story is a lot better too I’d say, looks like something you’d see of the SCIFI channel. The greatest thing I’d say is the online play on Xbox Live, it’s very addicting. There’s clan matches, slayer, swords, and all kinds of different modes to play. I do think they should have added bots though, that would have been great to practice offline. The Co-op mode I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure it’s just as good as before. Halo 2 was fun game, but not the greatest thing I’ve ever played. It is the only best FPS out for Xbox. Fans of Halo will like Halo 2, I’m sure there will be a Halo 3 sometime down the line too.

I give it a wart hogging 9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Painkiller: Battle Out Of Hell For PC

I really enjoyed Painkiller, this is the expansion pack for Painkiller. There are 10 new levels, new multiplayer modes and new game engine. It's the best $20 game I've gotten for PC. The game is tight as hell! It continues from Painkiller's ending. Graphics are the best I've seen, and the bosses are harder than ever. The new puzzles added are also very tricky. If you liked Painkiller you will love Battle Out Of Hell. It's one of the best FPS add-ons I've played. Can't wait for the Painkiller on Xbox :)

Run & Gun= Lot of Fun 9.7/10

------------------------------------------------

Killzone For PS2

Killzone has to be one of the most exciting FPS I've played on PS2. Lot's of action and great looking too. It's a futuristic war kinda game. With non stop action! Alot of people didn't seem to like it, but I sure did. The online play is also a lot of fun. Running with grenades and blowing up enemies is priceless.

FPS Fans will enjoy this one

A Kill Fest 8.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude For PC, Xbox, and PS2

Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude has to be the funniest game I’ve played this year. Larry is one nerdy guy. The game is easy to pick up and play. Great voice overs, funny likeable characters. Funny story, addictive mini games. No multiplayer though, but that’s ok. This game is not for kids, it makes Conker look like a Disney video game compared to this game. There is also a lot of foul language, and it’s not bleeped out either. Oh yeah and watch out for that monkey in this game, he’s nasty.

I never played any of the old Larry Games on PC, but I enjoyed this one.

Ooooh it's funny 8.9/10

------------------------------------------------

GTA San Andreas For PS2

GTA has gone ghetto! Carl Johnson is the guy who runs it in GTA SA. The game looks great! Except for those claw hands! LOL Huge map! Makes GTA Vice look like a small island. Great voice acting, except for that f word. They say the f word way too much in this game. The soundtrack is full of hip hop and rap songs and Willie Nelson? Great controls and easier camera! Tons of new features and the ability to swim, rob houses, get fat like Fat Abbot. Play 2 player missions and see some neat things R* added from the old GTA games. GTA SA is the GTA game to own! PC version is coming too and most likely a Xbox version in the future.

Shootin In Da Hood Yo 9.6/10

------------------------------------------------

Doom 3 For PC

Doom 3 has to be the scariest game I've ever played for PC. The music is creepy, things pop out of all corners! Great voice acting! It's also very hard, multiplayer was ok. Single Player will take you awhile. If you liked the old Doom games, you'll enjoy this one. Doom 3 is also coming to Xbox next year.

Doom 3 will make your heart beat so fast you'll scream!

I give it a 8/10

------------------------------------------------

Painkiller For PC

Painkiller is one of the coolest FPS I’ve played. It’s like a dark Serious Sam with a twist. The levels are huge filled with creatures to shoot down. The bosses are enormous and very hard to take down. Best of all is the replay value! There’s multiplayer and the huge single player mode. Best part of all is how it plays, it’s so much fun. There is a Xbox version in the works too, but no release date has been confirmed yet.

It’s one of the best FPS I’ve played this year!

I give it a 10/10

------------------------------------------------

Bloodrayne 2 For PC, Xbox, and PS2

Bloodrayne 2 has to be one of the best sequel I’ve ever played. It’s a huge jump from the original Bloodrayne. The graphics are amazing! The character models look so unique. Rayne looks a lot better too. What I really like is how the game plays, it’s fun. You can grind rails, swing, and fight and even suck blood. Think Blade, but with more action. It’s very challenging too. Great Vampire Action!

I give this a bloodsucking 9.2/10

------------------------------------------------

Def Jam Fight 4 NY For Xbox, GC, & PS2

Def Jam Fight 4 NY is the sweetest fighting game I have played. The first one was a blast, rappers, and wrestling mixed really good. Fight 4 NY is even better, you got Snoop Dogg in there, and tons and tons of other artists, and celebrities. The game is easy to pick up and play, great moves, awesome soundtrack. Only downfall was there is no online play, and the crowds get in the way alot. It's also gets alot harder in the game later on. Oh yeah and Ludacris kicks a$$ in this game.

I give it a 9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Tony Hawk's Underground For PS2, Xbox, and GC

Tony Hawk's Underground is the 5th game in the series. This one is a little bit different, you can get off your board and ride vehicles and do other things that you wouldn’t expect in a skateboard game. There’s also a Story, which I thought was ok.. I liked the online play the most and the multiplayer modes. Another neat thing that you can do is scan your face in the game (PS2 version only) It’s sweet to see yourself in a video game pulling off tricks that are unbelievable in real life. The graphics I thought were bit cartoon looking, but still great looking environments to skate at. The only thing that I didn’t like about THUG was the soundtrack, it had a lot of songs, but only a few were great to me. I liked the THPS3 soundtrack the best. You can also unlock skaters, old levels from THPS2 and make your own boards, moves, levels. It’s very fun game, for all Tony Hawk fans. It’s also a lot cheaper now since THUG2 is on the way.

I give it a 9.3/10

------------------------------------------------

Links 2004 For Xbox

Links 2004 is the best Golf Game. Period. End Of Story. It's got great details in all the levels. Playing golf in it is easy to pick up. There's online play which I play alot (Gamertag: ConkersCrib) You can download levels, make your own custom golfer. It's a great game to play, and the custom soundtrack feature makes it even better. I think it's alot more fun than Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004, no offense.

Any fan of Golf or sport games will enjoy Links 2004.

I give it a 9.7/10

------------------------------------------------

American McGee's Alice For PC

American McGee's Alice is Alice going insane in Wonderland! The graphics look outstanding on the PC. All your favorite characters from Alice are in there, except this time not so friendly. You'll have to fight off all kinds of enemies. The best part about the game is the voice acting, it is done with perfection. The music in the game is also done very well. It sounds a little spooky, yet it fits just right in the game. I won't spoil the whole game, but if your a fan of 3rd person shooters, and have a PC. Go Grab Alice, it's only $10.

It has to be one of the best PC games I've ever played.

I give it a 10/10

Here's awesome drawing of Alice by Conker Artist Peanut

------------------------------------------------

Manhunt For Xbox, PS2, and PC

Manhunt has to be the most violent game ever made. You play Cash a guy that is hunted down by gangs. You have to use stealth, hide a lot, and run like there’s no tomorrow. Lots of action, great graphics. It even has some sounds from the GTA games since, this is a game by Rockstar North. Any fan of stealth game, and action will like this one. The neatest thing about the game is the headset that you can use to hear what the guy tells you what to do. Also if you talk while using it, those gangs come and get you. It's very violent though, it makes GTA look like a Disney movie. It's out on Xbox, PS2, and PC.

I give it a 9/10

------------------------------------------------

True Crime: Streets Of LA For PS2, Xbox, GC, and PC

True Crime Streets of LA was hyped for a while, is it any good? Here's what I think. The graphics in True Crime were so plain, the levels looked all the same. The characters had great voice acting though, except for Nick Kang. The fighting moves were so lame, the cars looked like something made on MS Paint. The targeting system was just horrible. The character you play as is a self centered idiot. All he does is say how great he is, and cares only about himself. Plus they made fun of Rockstar. There's a logo on the streets with a sign saying Jockstar instead of Rockstar. You might like the game, but I sure didn't. It was a game trying to be better than GTA, that didn't do a very good job. Glad I only rented this one.

I give it a 6/10

------------------------------------------------

Mafia For PS2, Xbox, and PC

Mafia the GTA of the 1930's. Great deep story about a Mafia family. The Xbox version is a lot more better than the PS2 version. The load times are very fast. It's fast like GTA3 & GTA Vice on Xbox. Graphics look 1,000 times better than PS2 version. Everything looks a lot more cleaned up, and the details in everything look a ton better. The levels are a lot more clear than the PS2 version. When it's night time in the game you can see where your driving. In the PS2 version it was hard to see cause it was so dark. I haven't seen any draw distance so far. PS2 version had a big problem with that, where things would just pop up out of no where and you'd crash into something. Controls Works great with the Xbox Controller S. The game doesn’t freeze either, the PS2 version froze a lot for me. I think it was worth the wait, it's a whole lot better than the PS2 version. If your a fan of GTA, or Mafia action check out Mafia for Xbox or PC. It's also a lot of fun on the PC and only $10 on there so I recommend PC or Xbox version.

Don't waste your time on the PS2 version.

Truly a Mafia Masterpiece 10/10

------------------------------------------------

Whiplash For Xbox and PS2

Whiplash is a great whipping animal plat former for PS2 and Xbox. The graphics are very cartoon like, and funny looking. You control a rabbit and a weasel trying to escape from an animal research center where they do experiments on animals. It's a fun game, but it would be better if there were different looking scientists to beat up. Most of the scientists you fight all look the same.

Overall it's a interesting game worth a rental.

I give it a 8.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Boogerman A Pick & Flick Adventure For SNES and Genesis

Boogerman is one of my favorite SNES and Genesis games of all time. The game is alot of fun to play, and the characters are hilarious. You can throw boogers, fart, and burp your way in every level. It's a great platform game for the SNES and the Genesis. You may have a hard time finding it now though, since SNES and Genesis games are pretty much dead now. It's a lot like Earthworm Jim, but with a twist! Boogerman also appeared in the N64 game Clay Fighters 63 1/3

It's Boogerific 10/10

------------------------------------------------

Primal For PS2

Primal is one of the best looking PS2 games I've ever played. The story is done very well, and the characters seem very lifelike. It's a very long adventure game where you embark on a quest to save your friend. Your pal to help you there is a gargole that talks a lot. If you like games with adventure and great story telling, then you'll love Primal. The load times are great too!

I give it a 9.7/10

------------------------------------------------

Sonic Heroes For Xbox, PS2, GC, and PC

Sonic Heroes may disappoint some people. It's filled with glitches on all three platforms. The camera is still bad like in the previous sonic games. It's still a solid game though. The only real problem I had with it was the annoying character voices. Tails and Charmy the Bee got on my nerves. You'll hear alot of lines repeated over and over too. The game play is a lot more fun than Sonic Adventure 2.

I give it a 7/10

------------------------------------------------

Go Go Hypergrind For GC

Go Go Hypergrind is a very cool cel shaded skateboard game. Spumco the people behind Ren & Stimpy helped out with this game. You'll see some whacky and crazy characters too. It's a gamecube exclusive too, well for now. It's easy to play and very entertaining. Plus it's on $20.

I give it a 8.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Max Payne For Xbox, PS2, and PC

Max is back and with even more Pain. He looks a lot better too, no more constipated look on his face. The characters look great too. The sound is done very well, and the story is just like a movie. If you are a fan of the first Max Payne, you'll really enjoy his second adventure.

I give it a 9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Grabbed By The Ghoulies For Xbox

Grabbed By The Ghoulies is one cool beat em up game for Xbox. The characters are cool and the graphics are very nice looking. The story is very well done, and the characters look familiar to Rare's other games and there hilarious. You might even see a few cameos of conker and banjo. The best part is the sounds it's amazing! Rare has done it again! If you have a xbox make sure you grab this one.

I give it a 9.7/10

------------------------------------------------

GTA Double Pack For Xbox

GTA 3 and Vice City are packed together in one great package! Both game are upgraded, with better graphics and sound. They have hands now too! No more claws like the PS2 version. Another great thing is the load times are very very fast. Best of all you can use custom soundtracks on both games. If you have a Xbox, get the GTA Double Pack it's worth every penny.

I give it a 10/10

------------------------------------------------

Roadkill for PS2, Xbox, and GC

Roadkill is pretty cool, the graphics are good, and it has some cool soundtracks, but I wish it had custom too. The multiplayer is ok, but it needs music in the background. It's a good car combat and there aren't any on Xbox, but this one.

I give it a 8.7/10

------------------------------------------------

Celebrity Deathmatch For Xbox, PS2, PS1, and PC

I got this game today and was surprised! It's a great fighter for $20 and very addicting. The game was a bit short though. The multiplayer is great fun too. If you have a PS2 get this one! Fans of the show that use to be on MTV will enjoy this one!

It was a good clean fight 8.8/10

------------------------------------------------

HellBoy For PS1

This game is based on the comic series, of a devil boy. It's not a bad PS1 game for only $10. There's a lot of action, but the only problem is the load times. If you liked the comics, then you'll enjoy this one. It's also on the PC.

I give it a 7.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Whirl Tour For PS2 and GC

Freeky, Scary, and just plain weird. It's kinda like the resident evil games, except these guys are not zombies. There crazy serial killers out to get you. You have holy water, and places to hide for safety. The graphics look great, and the sound fits perfectly in the levels. If you enjoyed the old clock towers on the PS1, CT3 is a must get. There's many secrets too, when you complete the game.

I give it a 9.5/10

------------------------------------------------

Blinx The Time Sweeper For Xbox

If your looking for a new breed of platformer that is not only fun but is even more interactive and can make you think, than here it is. Blinx is a great Mascot for the Xbox with great replay value. Replay Value is the key I look for in purchasing games because if there is no replay value than I might as well rent it, but games like Blinx I keep forever. It's quite a game with many puzzles and many secrets.

I give it a 9/10

------------------------------------------------

Long name but quite a game! It's similar to the tony hawk games, but with a twist and more fun. You can wakeboard in 9 huge levels and even drive boats. The best part is the multiplayer, one person can control the boat while the other one is wakeboarding. If you have a xbox or PS2 check out this one.

I give it a 9.2/10

------------------------------------------------

Postal 2: Share The Pain

When I first played the demo, I was hooked. I hadn't had this much fun blowing up people since GTA3. This game is ultra violent, a first of a kind, really. It has its similarities to GTA, but I don't see why everyone needs to complain about how you can't steal cars or other stuff. Postal 2 is unique, it's not copying off of the GTA series. The game is a lot of fun online in multiplayer, there's tons of awesome maps and characters to choose from. You can also make your own maps and mods. Alot of other game sites didn't really like the game, but I think it's great PC game and one of the best FPS I've played.

Going Postal 9.8/10

------------------------------------------------

Sonic Adventure 2 For DC and GC

When Sega announced that they would no longer be making games for the Dreamcast, I was mad, being a Dreamcast fan and all. Then I realized that they were going to make a sequel to one of the best Dreamcast titles ever, Sonic Adventure, before they gave up on the Dreamcast. I immediately knew I had to have Sonic Adventure 2. And when I got it and played it, it was everything I had expected from a Sonic game, and maybe more

I give it a 9.4/10

------------------------------------------------

Sonic Adventure For DC and GC

The first major Sonic ever since, the Genesis ''golden age'', Sonic Adventure. Sonic Adventure is set-up a little differently from Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. The whole game doesn't revolve completely around Sonic but, six different characters each with their own unique styles (Big, Amy, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and E102 Gamma.) Sonic Adventure also brings a fun new add-on named ''Chao Adventure.''

I give it a 9/10

Def Jam Vendetta For PS2 and GC

The biggest names in hip hop are joining forces with the big boys of gaming to bring you this story-driven wrestling game. Play as DMX, Funkmaster Flex, Ludacris, Redman and other Def Jam artists as you settle old scores and bail out your pal Manny. It's lots of fun and there's tons of secret stuff, and full of wrestling matches with over 40 fighters and 12 rings. If you've got a PS2 or a GC rent it. I recommend it to anyone that likes wrestling, if you don't just rent it don't buy it.

I give it a 8.9/10

------------------------------------------------

BMX XXX For Xbox, PS2, and GC

BMXX XXX dosen't stink like most people say. Now the GC and PS2 versions really stink though, both have horrible graphics. The Xbox one looks good and plus you can add custom music from your Xbox. This game is very funny too. Watch out for the pimp he may curse you out. Also this game is not for kiddies.

I give it a 9.1/10

------------------------------------------------

Kinetica For PS2

This game is definitely the coolest game to hit the console. The Designers for this game did such a great job. That is one of the most important aspects in a racing game, and it shines wonderfully here. This is recommended to anyone who digs futuristic racers, and if you don’t... try it anyways!

I give it a 8/10

------------------------------------------------

Diddy Kong Racing
