Re:    Courtney Patterson -- Remaining Requirement for Graduation

Dear Mr. And Mrs. Carlos Patterson:

We regret to inform you that your daughter, Courtney Patterson, will not be graduating as anticipated.  Upon grading Courtney's Honors Algebra II final, her teacher determined that Courtney would be receiving a failing grade in the course.  As a result, she does not meet the six semesters of mathematics required for graduation from Christina Brothers High School.

Upon review of her situation, the administration, acting on the advice from her teachers, has decided to let her "walk" at the graduation ceremony this Friday.  However, she will be required to retake the course during summer school and complete it with a passing grade before she receives her diploma.

You will need to make arrangements with Assistant Principal Mrs. Budzenski to register for one of the two summer school sessions offered this year at Christian Brothers.  First Session begins June 14th and runs until July 2nd.  Second Session begins July 6th and runs through July 26th.  Registration fees of $450 are due to the Registrar's office by June 1st.  If you would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Budzenski at (916) 733-3620 during normal office hours.
