Just A Reminder:

Gentlemen:

Wow…it’s hard to believe it’s been almost a year since our first get-together. Only about 9 or so weeks until the next Western Chapter reunion on 13 May 2011. It should be quite beautiful here at Lindy’s Landing by then. The itinerary will be much the same as last year, as follows:

13 May - Friday afternoon and evening - Get together here at Lindy’s Landing for introductions (some B.S./war stories) and refreshments. As has become the custom there will be pizza at around 6:00 or 6:30 PM (see note below).

14 May - Saturday morning - Again thanks to the people at the Dinuba Veterans Memorial Building we have a meeting room reserved from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for our Board of Directors’ and Members’ meetings. Coffee and donuts will be served.
14 May - Saturday afternoon and evening - Return here to Lindy’s for an informal old-fashioned barbeque (and more B.S./war stories) (see note below). I haven’t figured out an exact menu yet but you can bet it’ll be good.

Directions are quite simple to both places...take Hwy. 99 to Mt. View Ave. (south of Fresno between the cities of Selma and Kingsburg) and drive east on Mt. View Ave. about 6 miles to Road 38 (just before the Kings River bridge), turn left (North) on Road 38 and Lindy's Landing is a little more than 1/4 mile on the right. To get to the Dinuba Veterans Memorial Building you simply continue east on Mt. View Ave. past Road 38 an additional 5 miles or so (a total of 11 miles or so from Hwy. 99) to S. Alta Ave. and turn south...it's right there on the right.

Lodging is available in the nearby towns of Dinuba, Reedley, Selma and Kingsburg or you can bring an RV or just pitch a tent right here at Lindy’s if you wish. Full hook-ups and amenities are provided.
