Realm of Wilderun

the Angelfire Gallery of Fine Art (eat your heart out Ansel Adams)

The main tower of the Fortress in Wilderun. Inside you'll fine the main hall, kitchens and Royal apartments. As well as storage and a cellar down below.

Here is what the main tower looked like when we first arrived. The smaller tower to the right is no longer there, having been lost during a battle with Obsidian's army.

The view from the eastern horizon. The stream to the right flows from a lake and adds to the defences of the realm. Not every creature likes the water.

The view from the southern horizon. You can see the main tower, as well as the guest and servant apartments in the back. Beyond on the other side of the apartments is the stables and armoury.

This is a closeup view of what lies just beyond the streams in Wilderun on the western horizon. A fine sight to see from the windows of the royal apartments, bringing the viewer a sense of peace and tranquility.

A view from inside the dense forest partly belonging to Wilderun on the southern border. Not many travel through these parts due to the thickness of the trees.

One of the waterfalls in the forest along the southern border. This one is over a hundred feet high and contains secrets just beyond it's curtain of water.

Here lies one of the secrets of the waterfall. An ancient cave containing what? Not many know, nor have many found their way our of it's tunnels.

Here is the only roadway in the forest of the southern border, connecting Wilderun to another kingdom. It's wide enough for carriages to be driven in single file only and the overhang tends to be low in some places.

Obsidian's forest. It lies thickly on the eastern horizon. A spell of enchantment has been placed upon it by Obsidian himself. Those that are not invited by him into those woods, will find himself lost and will never return.

Yes, even in Obsidian's forest lies some waterfalls. Beautiful as they seem, they are still very dangerous. One would not want to get too close.
