Jessie Conners

"I'm younger than all of them, but I'm underestimated." --Jessie Conners

Jessie was born in Minnesota and endured hardship in her early years. Growing up traveling -- from the city of Minneapolis to a 265 acre farm in Wisconsin with no running water or electricity to an orphanage in Monterrey, Mexico. She now owns her own hobby farm and is a successful business owner. With her home school education, at the age of 17 Jessie started a chiropractic marketing and management company. She currently runs chiropractic clinics and is a realtor in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

What is your definition of "success"? Success is opening up your eyes in the morning. Taking a big breath in, you look up toward your alarm clock, making out the numbers, and realize that you have electricity. Then, looking up toward the ceiling you stretch out your arms and identify the structure that you are within. You are…Warm and comfortable, dry and safe. And as you take your first step out of bed, it dawns on you that... This day was given to you as an opportunity to serve, grow, and learn. You savor in that moment acknowledging the situation that you are in and give thanks. Then you immediately take ACTION. You make the decision to move forward through new accomplishments whether... physical, emotional, or spiritual. You have realized that each day, each minute is valuable, and no matter your situation or your experience... you search for the opportunity. You are truly successful.

Who do you admire most (personally and/or professionally)? Out of all the great people of influence that have shaped history, my greatest motivation has come from home. My parents are the inspiration behind my ambition. They are the role models that encouraged me to be "more", and continually push me forward in growth, and love. The integrity, diligence, and perseverance that is continually displayed through their lives, inspires me not only in my personal life, but my business life as well.

What cartoon character do you most relate to and why? Believing that there is NO LIMIT to a child's ability to assimilate its environment, I guess I would have to, out of obligation to my community, choose a character from Sesame Street. So, the benefit, in fact, would be an investment. Then, through my dedication, and after a significant rise in IQ scores.... I would retire as Bubbles the Powerpuff Girl. I would live out my days wearing cute clothes, and flying through the air conquering evil.
