A female Human, wearing a gorgeous sheath dress, is laughing as she is lifted into the air by a handsome Human male. She's holding a rose in her hand and enjoying herself. Below the picture reads, "Spurian Free Press...get into it."

If there's one thing a Drag-al is good at, it's drinking. If there's another, it's eating. My new column is going to review some of the best (and worst) food and drink of Spur and its surrounding areas, so that you, loyal Spurian Free Press readers, can eat, drink, and be merry.
Many of you are undoubtedly aware of Moss Glenn Trading Post, located on East Trade Road approximately halfway between Spur and Treehaven. Nestled in this quaint little outpost is Nibiru's Mug House, a rest stop for any and every kind of thirsty traveler. If you happen to come across this lovely little pub, be sure to have yourself a tasty martini with the smoked fish. Especially the smoked fish: as far as entrees go, this is the only thing you'll find here. The only other food being offered at the pub when I visited was desserts. Perhaps the Hithual cook is too busy keeping people out of the kitchen to actually cook anything worthwhile?
One would expect, with all these desserts, to find an exquisite dessert wine, but you'd be disappointed. The blueberry wine most definitely leaves something to be desired. I was much more impressed with the large selection of ales, lagers and stouts available. Personally, I tried both stout selections, and was delightfully surprised by the deliciousness of both. For those who don't much care for alcohol (you crazy folks!) the sasparilla is sweet with a bit of a tangy bite.
Overall, Nibiru's Mug House is a fine choice if you're looking for a place to find yourself a good drink and a place to relax with fellow travelers. Just don't head there if you're looking to have yourself a full meal.
