Introduction
What gives me a damn right to think I know anything about the government?
Not a damn thing.
This page is meant to show my view of the government.
I am a C-SPAN addict and watch most of the major events going on in congress and around politics in general (mainly in Washington D. C.).
I do not claim a party nor do I claim independent because I do not vote in the first place and therefore have no reason to claim any party.
I plan on keeping this page updated on a regular basis based upon what is going on inside of the United States or dealing with United States foreign policy.
Most likely I will leave my opinion of the Iraq War and all other major events on this page as well.
If you are a person who wants to know what really goes on in congress and the White House, this page is the right place to go. My major interest is in the bills, laws, and tax cuts/raises which are passed in congress. I believe the congress is where the true heart of the president lies and the true heart of the different political parties.
Let me show you an example of what I mean.
In the year of 2002 there was a bill called HR-52 proposed by President Bush which went through congress.
Almost all democrats voted no and almost all republicans voted yes.
Why is this you ask?
Well let's examine what the bill was about.
At the time, the United States budget gave 1.8 million dollars a year to public schools.
This is a good thing.
Bill HR-52 called for a plan to set aside 3 million dollars every year for the next ten years.
What would this money be used for you ask?
Well, when parents want to send their children to private school sometimes they have to take out a loan because it is expensive.
This bill would provide the money to be leant and then that money would allow parents to send their children to private school to provide a better life.
Now, lets take into consideration a few factors.
1. Only 1.8 million is spent on public schools to make them better each year
2. Only rich people can afford to pay back the loans needed to send their children to private school (so it only benefits rich people to have a better life) The majority of children in the United States attend public schools, so it would only help a minority.
3. The 3 million a year is only feasible to do because the money is cutting into social security funds.
Okay, taking all this into consideration, a person would have to be rich, selfish, and idiotic to think that passing this bill would make the United States education system a better place somehow.
I have seen so many run down schools on all levels from K-12 and some neighborhoods have schools that look like warehouses.
What makes more sense:
1. Helping rich people have a better life on top of their already better life than most Americans or
2. Helping to improve the quality of education for the majority of the children in the United States who live either an average life or in poverty.
Obviously the right thing to do would be to vote down this bill and put 3 million more towards public schools.
Rich people are rich--THEY DON'T NEED ANYMORE HELP!!!
Could anyone look at a little child and tell him he's using books that are torn and used because the rich person down the street wants to go to private school and needs even more money to do it?
Could anyone justify to a little child or explain why they feel this way?
And most importantly, can the people who supported this bill honestly say they care about children who live in poverty in the United States?
I don't believe so.
Not only did they put more money towards the benefit of the minority rich people in the United States but they also used social security money at the same time!
What an inconsiderate bunch of pricks!
Now some republican presidents in the U. S. history were great presidents; but when it comes to modern day republican views, they are only about helping the rich.
I will show more on how this is true in my Yearly Budget Column discussing the budget and how the government spends money versus how they claim to spend money on regular television stations.
I hope you enjoy the various columns I have written and make full use of them.
Show your friends this site--this site brings the truth behind the president's claims to the table.

Iraq War
Iraq War
According to President Bush, the war in Iraq had to have taken place.
Let me fill you in with the history of the situation.
From the early 90's (about 1990, 1991 or so) up until resolution 14-41 (the final resolution passed by the U. N. Security Council in 2002 before the Iraq War took place) the U. N. Security Council had passed numerous amounts of resolutions calling Iraq to rid it's country of chemical and biological weapons, some missiles, and other weapons of mass destruction.
Iraq claimed before resolution 14-41 that they had no such weapons and would cooperate with U. N. Inspectors in any way, shape, or form needed.
They claimed all such weapons had been done away with in past resolutions.
President Bush claims that Iraq has always played games with inspectors and hidden weapons and/or moved them around the country in attempts to fool inspectors and the world so that their weapons of mass destruction may not be found.
Well, when it comes down to it, if we can't find the weapons, we have no proof.
Unfortunately, if a country finds ways around inspectors and is good enough at hiding such weapons, there simply is nothing that can be done.
Without physical proof of anything, claims are still merely claims; no matter how probable the claims may be, they carry no weight without physical evidence.
Resolution 14-41, passed unanymously by the U. N. Security Council, called this Iraq's last chance to rid its country of weapons of mass destruction and called for complete cooperation with all U. N. inspectors.
It also stated that if weapons inspectors efforts failed with Iraq and that there was not complete compliance that action could be taken if necessary.
At first the Iraq Government looked foolish.
A few missiles which had been banned by international war laws had been uncovered.
Reports for anthrax labs and some long rang missiles from past Iraqi records had not yet been accounted for.
Scientists who had worked for the Iraq Government were discouraged and threatened not to share information.
What was Iraq's response to all of this?
They said they had destroyed the anthrax labs and all of the illegal missiles they had once had.
They let three scientists (ooo that's really a lot... not really) talk with U. N. inspectors privately for the first time (before all scientists were accompanied by Iraqi officers).
From this point on, they claimed to have no such weapons and to be cooperating fully with the U. N. inspectors.
The U. N. then set aside a list of things they would like to see accomplished by March 14th (I believe that's the right date) of 2002. Iraq failed to meet all of these things, and this is when President Bush pushed for war.
Colin Powell presented evidence gathered by U. S. intelligence agencies and presented the case for war to the U. N. in hopes that they would push Iraq to cooperate or face war against the entire U. N.
Unfortunately, for Colin Powell, Iraq stuck to their story that there was no such weapons in their country and that they were doing their best to comply.
Up to this very day there has been no significant evidence to show that there was a justified cause for war against Iraq.
Yes, there was speculation, but so far all the U. S. has found are a few illegal missiles.
I believe President Bush is trying to divert the U. S. citizens from more important issues which he is failing in such as education, jobs, and the entire financial state of the U. S.
President Bush has lost the U. S. more than 3 million jobs and has ruined our economy.
You can see the Yearly Budget Column for more information on this.
I believe he fought the war simply to divert the minds of Americans in order that he may be reelected and also in hopes that he may somehow profit from Iraq's oil fields.
Until President Bush comes up with hardcore evidence of all of Colin Powell's statements made to the U. N. Security Council, he will look like a bumbling fool!
If you don't have the proof, don't accuse someone!
Maybe he is right and maybe he did a good thing, but now our country looks like it's ran by a complete idiot because he didn't get the proof before the war to justify his actions.
If he comes up with proof now he will be justified, but so far he looks like an idiot to me.
Nobody can justify the war.
Nobody has hard evidence.
As much as I love the U. S. A. and support the troops and pray for their safety, they are fighting for a cause which has no roots, evidence, or true meaning.
Until the U. S. Government comes up with some good physical evidence, we will be a mochery, and looked upon as a tyrant which kills innocent lives for our own gain (oil).
Thankyou, President Bush, for making us all look like idiots without proof.
Also, listen to a statement made by Colin Powell.
He had shown, as part of his presentation to the U. N. Council, a satelite image which was taken and used this photo to claim, simply by looking at the photo, that the facilities were used for chemical weapons storage!
If this were really true, don't you think they would have uncovered some chemical weapons by now?
I guess it wasn't true.
I guess our intelligence agencies were WRONG!
Our intelligence didn't even stop the September 11th attacks, so what makes Colin Powell so confident that they know anything about what weapons are stored where in Iraq?
Our intelligence agencies have not even proven that they can find Suddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden, yet they still make claims of weapons in Iraq?
This is foolish.

Colin Powell: "No. I don't I don't think that Dr. Blix challenged a great deal. What he said on the satelite photo that I used last week that highlighted four spots that in that large complex that we believe chemical weapons were stored in--uh--he said based on his analysis--uh--there could be an alternative explanation to the activity that I highlighted--and that is certainly--uh--his judgement to make--uh--i have quite a bit of information in addition to the one satelite photo that i showed which at least--uh--convinces us that there were prohibited 'munitions at that site and the place was--uh--sanitized."
