Groovie Man and Buzz McCoy make up the core of the band My life with the Thrill Kill Kult from Chicago. They approached Dannie Flesher and Jim Nash, who were owners of a small record store turned record label called wax trax!, with the beginnings of a movie entitled My life with the Thrill Kill Kult. The soundtrack was to be I See Good Spirits and I See Bad Spirits, which was released after their self-titled EP. The movie was never made (or finished actually).

Groovie Mann (Frank Nardiello) and Buzz McCoy (Marston Daley) is basicly the band, Levi Levi and Buck Ryder also have played a big role in the band. Their is an interesting story behind the Bomb Gang Girlz. The Bomb Gang Girlz was originaly started as a way of milking Wax Trax! for more money; Buzz and Groovie pitchshifted their voices up and claimed to have hired backup singers who needed to be paid (at the label's expense, of course). Then when it was time for the Kult to go on tour and the guys hired real live replacements as to not get caught. Members of the Bomb Gang Girlz is or was Rhonda Bond, Kitty Killdare (Laura Gomel), Jacky Blacque (Rachel Hollingsworth), Sekret DeZyre (Laura Dame), Arena Rock (Carmen Marusich), and a few random others.
