Who Is 'Loby'?

Ah, how many of us, thusly addicted, are out there? I am one of the lucky ones; lucky to have found my way to a fabulous place, Scaperoute's Kansas Forum and discovered that I was not alone! I lurked, I joined, I became a part of the 'Scaper Community. Does that make me a weirdo? No! (Well, not any more so than I was to begin with.)

In fact, if you know anything at all about fandoms, you'll know that Scapers are the best of the best. We're everywhere, we're involved in all sorts of things - not just attending conventions, dressing like favorite characters from the show, writing fanfic, thoroughly dissecting every minute of dialogue from the 88 episodes and the mini-series - although, I freely admit, we do these things too! All a part of the great fun that goes with sharing a love of and passion for an excellent television series.

I have written fanfic - a continuation of the show, of sorts. There are many, many authors of excellent (and, yeah, a few not so excellent) Farscape based stories. The Henson Corporation, who owns Farscape and all it's characters, seems to very good about letting us go on with our little hobby. None of us make money out of it; we write for non-commercial purposes. On my Links Page you can find a list of some of my favorite Farscape sites, many of them filled with other author's fanfic. I have also taken up the 'craft' of photo retouching -this, along with an alternative sense of humour has produced a few pics & slideshows to while away time and perhaps bring a smile to other 'Scapers' faces.
