Fortress fam The Eran Qaarn
The Fortress fam The Eran Qaarn.
This Fortress, one of several in the Land's Ruled by Khan Kane Damar Grimblade as part of the Khanate of The Great City of Kasra, is an enormous fortress, with massive wall's and fortification's. Garrisoned by a large force of Kasra's Military, both Infantry and Tharlarion Cavalry, Veteran's ALL as well as a fleet of Kasra's River Navy's finest Warship's.
The Fortress fam The Eran Qaarn sit's above the confluence of the Upper and Lower Fayeen River's. It, with it's large, highly experienced and well armed Garrison, protect this River Trade Route and enforces the taxation of Vessels entering either River and the Blockade of ALL products and trade goods bound for the "city" of tor..
The Garrison force along with the substantial fleet of Warship's of the Kasra River Navy, both protects this vital Trade route and makes impossible any attempt to run the blockade or, though the detailed searches conducted aboard non-allied ship's, any and ALL attempts to smuggle trade goods to the city blockaded.
No ship may safely pass up either river without an escorting Navigation Ship, as a number of heavy, steel spikes have been driven into both river bed's, angled so that, if run into, would tear out the underhull of any vessel attempting to get by without an escort. The chances of an unescorted ship making it through without ruining itself upon the spikes is virtually impossible.
The Fortress fam The Eran Qaam is a massive fortress, new it may be, the wealth of Kasra has made it impregnable.
"Why does the nibbling urt chatter and laugh at the larl? Is it because he himself is not a larl, or is it because he fears its paws?" (Explorers of Gor, p.229)

and they will conquer you."

"It is fortunate that some arrangement exists for the men of the Tahari, like Goreans in general, are extremely proud, high strung, easily offended men, with a sense of honor that is highly touchy. Furthermore, enjoying war, they need very little to send hem to their saddles with their scimitars loose in their sheaths. A rumor of an insult or outrage, not inquired closely into, perhaps by intent, will suffice. A good fight, I have heard men of the Tahari say, licking their lips, justify any cause." (Tribesmen of Gor, pg. 177)
"Too often it seems it is the peaceful and innocent who are slaughtered. In this a lesson may be found that it may not be prudential to be either too peaceful or too innocent. One does not survive with wolves by becoming a sheep. T hat is only a short-cut to destruction." (Savages of Gor, p.89)
"It is seldom wise, incidentally,
to impugn, or attempt to manipulate, the honor of a Gorean."

"Civilized men, the small and pale, the righteous, the learned, the smug, the supercilious, the weak-stomached and contemptuous, stand upon the shoulders of forgotten, bloody giants." (Beasts of Gor, p.31)
