The winning design to be used on a t-shirt during their 2005 headline tour. The contest ran for aproximately 2 weeks and ended on Sept. 13. Fuse was so inundated with entries that their servers actually crashed temporarily. They were evidently not prepared for such an onslot of eager fans ideas for mcr t-shirt art. Neither were the members of MCR. The fuse My Chemical Creation Photo Blog was just updated on October 7 stating that "We are just days away from announcing the winning design" also adding that it took the band this long just to go through all the designs and further reasuring us that entered our art, that if we submitted a design the band DID see it. UPDATE The winner was announced and appeared on FUSE Daily Download on Nov. 23.  The winning design is NOW available at mcr's merch store - mcrstore. All proceeds of this tee go to MusiCares and Toys for Tots. Thanks to FUSE and MCR for the incredible opportunity to design art for my favorite band. So I didn't win, yea I was bummed, but they saw my design and who knows what the future holds. Continued success to all who entered and my sincere CONGRATS to the winner. |
