Laws of Hesa Nykus:

Welcome to Hesa Nykus
This is not a chat room! This is a Gorean Homestone, built by and for those who
have adopted the Gorean Lifestyle.
If this is not why you are hear, stop reading and leave now!
If it is why you are here, then welcome and familiarize yourself with the Laws:
for ignorance in Gor merely means a quick capture or a rapid separation of your
head from your shoulders.

The Laws:

1. As Hesa is Gor- then as in Gor Men rule. Free Women have a voice here only at the Master's pleasure.
Remember this and you will fare well.

2. When entering the Homestone, greet. Then read the rules. Then proceed to the City center and read the Laws. Then reacquaint yourself with the list of the Unwelcome and the Citizens list. All are expected to abide by the Laws, ignorance is no excuse.

3. Persons on the list of the Unwelcome are to be placed on iggy immediately if they come into the room. No greeting is to be given. Not following this Law will result in an appearance before the Council and possible temporary banishment.


4. Hesa tolerates no Switchers. You are either Master, Free Woman, Panther, kajira, or kajirus. Once your choice is made only a Master can change it! So make sure you know who and what you wish to be in Gor, for once you are accepted you will not be allowed to change. This holds for visitors from other Homestone's as well! If you are known to Us to be a switcher, Choose! As We of Hesa will only recognize one of your identities. If you will not choose, you will be Banned! If you are not known to us and are caught there are worse penalties than being Banned

5. Killing in a NKZ-NCZ will not be tolerated. Any violation of this will result in banishment. If the banished returns they will be hunted until killed. The only acception to this Law is if the Honor of the Homestone is threatened. Final judgment on any such cases to be rendered by the Council,or the Ubar in lue of the Council.

6. Contradiction of a Master is Forbidden! Whether it be verbal, gesture or by attitude. This is Gor and Men rule Gor! If you do not like it leave! As a Free Woman or slave if you do not understand something it is permitted to ask. However 2 warnings: If you think it will offend the Master, then ask to whisper to Him. And if you think it will offend the Master watch carefully how you phrase the question, for offending a Master is the quickest way to wind up in a ko'lar or to feel the lash if you already wear one!

7. Hesa Nykus is a Kassar Homestone. As in the Books, Kassaran FW do not wear veils. However until You are accepted as a Citizen, as a FW you are expected to wear a veil at all times in the public rooms unless it is the custom of Your Homestone to allow to go unveiled, permission may be granted from time to time by the Ubar or FS to unveil. If you know of Gor and know what Kassar is, read the legend to discover how W/we came to build the City.


8. There are many cz and kz places in Hesa. If a room is not tagged assume it is such, and beware. Ignorance will not change a valid capture or kill.

9. In the desire to bring more followers to the path of Gor, Hesa Nykus is an open City. Visitors not aligned to another Homestone are allowed 4 days to visit. On the 4th they will be asked to pledge to the Homestone or to leave. If asked to leave they are not to return. If asked to pledge they will be placed on a 15 day probation, a time to learn, train and firmly set their feet on the path of Gor. At the end of this probationary time The Council will meet to decide if Citizenship will be offered. If they are rejected they will be told to leave not to return. If accepted they will renew their pledge to the Homestone and be given full Citizenship to Hesa Nykus.

10. Hesa does not recognize the capturing and killing of gorean's in non Gor pages. Gor stays in Gor and should not taken outside of Gor by Heseans. Thusly Hesa will not recognize caps and kills performed outside of Gor. The only exception to this rule is in case of WAR.(06/05/03)

Visitors from other Homestone's
Here in Hesa Nykus there are additional Laws for Visitors from other
Homestone's. This is due to the well learned experience that they
appear to hold themselves above the Laws that Our Citizens abide.
1. Visitors are held to Our Laws as surely as the Citizens of Hesa Nykus are.

2. Visitors do not IM anyone without asking for and receiving permission first.

3. Visitors do not ask slaves of their restrictions. If a slave is ko'lard then the Master has no need of this information other than knowing she/he is restricted. Asking a slave of it's restrictions is an affront to the Owner and is taken as such.

4. Visitors opinions, perceptions of Our Laws, Customs, Dress or anything else to do with Our home are unwanted, unneeded, and unnecessary! For this is Our Home and will be run as We see fit. And Quite frankly unless your opinion is solicited we really do not care what you think! Furthermore< as if We have not stated Ourselves clearly enough yet> volunteering your opinion without being asked for, will most probably result in being Banned!

One must seek safe passage from Ubar Willing in order to enter into this city to be protected by its tags, Those who enter without safe passage are at risk of capture or even death.

"The Gorean is suspicious of the stranger, particularly in the vicinity of
his native walls. Indeed, in Gorean the same word is used for both stranger

Any hostile actions towards Me or my Guest will revoke any safe passage
granted by Me, and will no longer be protected by the tags and at risk of
capture or even death.
