The circle is the training ground for the Master in all things, not merely the place of the final test of His fighting skills.

This is where He starts His journey of discovery, and no matter where the journey takes Him the circle is always there. It is where the Master first challenges Himself, finding His limits,,,then stretching...expanding them. As He dances His Kata, expanding His skills, stretching and straining His body.... so He does with His mind becoming intune with Himself and His Mastery.
