The Great Library of Kasra |
NCZ NRZ |

Welcome to the Great Library of Kasra. Within is the vast store of scroll's upon which every possible subject one can imagine of on Gor is recorded. If it is known of on Gor, you shall find it here.
The Great Library of Kasra, and the scroll's within are cared for by the Scribe's of Kasra. Within Kasra the person of a Scribe is inviolate, and by order of the Khan, no harm shall be inflicted upon them. Any who violate this Law shall die.
There is only one exception to this, that is the Khan, who, by his position alone, may choose to kill anyone whom he wishes to, for any reason or for none at all.
The Great Library of Kasra is under guard by the City Guard of Kasra at all time's. Inside, in every hall are at least four, at every door, at least three. In fact there is no place inside the grounds, the outside or inside of the Library itself where there is not, within view at the least, a Member of the City of Kasra Guard's.
See Law's below for more information.

"Truth, you see, has reality
on its side. Truth's problems do not derive primarily from the complexity
of nature but from the simplicity of people. It is always more convenient
to adopt a slogan than conduct an inquiry. Too, the often cold and flinty
nature of truth may, to many people, understandably, constitute a poor substitute
for the comforts of self-deception. Harmless lies, perhaps, improve the quality
of human life. They do not, of course, improve its nobility or grandeur".

"Truth is not terrible; it is merely real."
Blood Brothers of Gor, p.218
"The fools of Earth, confused by the rhetoric of law and morality, shielding short-sighted greed and madness, had stood aside, permitting the poisoning of the air they breathe, the water they drink, the food they ate. That the poisoner will die with the poisoned will perhaps yield them some comfort."
Tribesmen of GOR p.362-363
"All men and all women, have within themselves despicable elements, cruel things and cowardly things, things vicious, and greedy and selfish, things ugly that we hide from others, and most of all from ourselves. The human being is a chaos of cruelties and nobilities, of hatreds and of loves, of resentments and respects, of envies and admiration's. He contains within himself in his ferments, much that is base and much that is worthy. These are old truths, but few men truly understand them.
Raiders of Gor pg 309
In Gorean law, allegiances to a Home Stone, and not
physical structures and locations, tend to define communities.
