The City of Kasra, Ruled by Khan Kane Damar Grimblade, born to a Tahari Kavar Tribesman and his Kassar ka'jira. Raised among both the Kassar of Hisius and the Kavar of Kasra, now Rule's here in Kasra. Wherein the two Cultural Tradition's, those of the Kavar and those of the Kassar are melded into one.

Kasra and it's Khan claim it's Citizen's and Law's a good blend of all that is best of both Cultures.

"The Gorean is suspicious of the stranger, particularly in the vicinity of
his native walls. Indeed, in Gorean the same word is used for both stranger
and enemy."

--pg. 49,Outlaw of Gor

The City of Tharna is a Vassal City of the Great City of Kasra and it's Absolute Ruler, Khan Kane Damar Grimblade.

It became so by, after it's former Ruler, a Tatrix, left and placed her at that time First Minister - Garvun, in charge of Tharna, granting him full power of Ruler ship. The Tatrix's First Minister Garvun joined the City of Kasra and, as a Gift to it's Khan, gave him all of Tharna, renouncing his Authority/Power and handing over that Authority/Power and ALL of Tharna itself and ALL it's Lands and Resources to Khan Kane Damar Grimblade.

As of that date, and since that time, the City of Tharna became and shall remain a Vassal of the Great City of Kasra and it's Khan.

Upon the date of the Khan assuming full Power and Authority over Tharna he named himself High Khan of Tharna. He appoint's a First Minister and Military Governor who Rule's Tharna in his name.

Tharna, as a Vassal City, pay's a Yearly Tribute of 1/5th of ALL it's Yearly revenue, a Thrice Yearly Tribute of 1/5th of ALL Silver extracted from Tharna's Mine's and a Yearly Tribute of 1/4 of it's total Harvest for that Year.

On the Second Day, of the Fourth Hand, Month of En'Kara Khan Grimblade, Ruler of Kasra, and Ubara Sass, Ruler of the Tuchuk Encampment and Blood Sister of Khan Grimblade, signed a full Military and Trade Alliance between the City State of Kasra and the Tuchuk Encampment.

This Alliance is now Law in Kasra.

Free Travel and Safe Passage in the Tuchuk Encampment and in Kasra is in effect for those of the Tuchuk Encampment and those of Kasra.

This symbol

Is the Crest of the Khan of Kasra and of Kasra itself. As such, any other's who dare to steal it and use it WILL be killed, and the matter brought to the Gorean Council against the Ruler of the Home of the thief.

This Crest represent's the Power and Authority of the Khan, HIS Honor, the HomeStone of Kasra, and the Honor of All of Kasra's Citizen's. Any theft of it and use by another outside this Home will result in immediate, fatal retaliation against the thief and all his possession's, including his slave's.

The title of Khan, though not often used except within the depth's of the Tahari, is equal to that of Ubar. As such, the Khan of Kasra give's no accounting and no explanation's.

The Law's of Kasra are the word's of the Khan, and here, his word's are Law.

The Law's of Kasra

Welcome to Kasra. Kasra is a Gorean HomeStone, built by a Gorean and for Gorean's. These room's are not chat room's or place's to find a cyber-partner. If that is why you are here, or if you are here for any purpose not related to Gor, LEAVE NOW. As the Khan and the Citizen's of Kasra do not suffer fool's or the stupid.

If you are here as a Gorean or to learn of Gor, Welcome, and read the Law's of Kasra below. Ignorance of our Law's and Rule's will never be excepted as an excuse and will likely result in your capture or death.

1: Visitors / Guest's will be held to the Law's and Rule's of Kasra just as it's Citizen's are.

2: "People" on the banned list are to be placed on ignore immediately if and when they enter the room, under no circumstances are they to be greeted. Not doing so will result in an appearance before the Khan and possible banishment, temporary or, if flagrant and deliberate, possibly permanent.

3: Free Women in Kasra are not required to wear veil's, in Kasra, only ka'jira do. Although a Free Woman may choose to wear Robes of Concealment, they are not required to do so.

4: Kasra is a Gorean HomeStone. As in Gor, in Kasra, Men Rule. Free Women in Kasra have voice here only by the allowance of the Khan and the Master's of Kasra. Remember this always if you are a FW.

5. Contradicting a Master shall never be tolerated. Be warned ka'jira, Men rule Gor, as such you are not permitted to contradict or argue with a Man, ever. If you as Slave do not understand something, you are permitted to ask. A piece of advice, think carefully before you ask. If you have any doubt that your question might offend a master, ask permission to whisper to him. Again, if you have even the slightest doubt about whether your question might offend him, phrase your question carefully, for if you do offend him, you may suddenly find yourself wearing a ko'lar, or if you already wear one, feeling the lash of the whip.

6: Kasra des not recognize killing, maiming or capturing of Gorean's in Non-Gorean Room's. Gor must always stay in Gor, and must never be taken outside of it by Kasran's Therefore, any such action's will not be considered legal by any of Kasra.

7. It is well known to the Khan and all of Kasra that some members of other Home Stone's feel that they have the right to enter a persons Home and criticize, debate or comment upon the Laws, Customs, Manner of Dress or Speech, and just about anything else that they do not approve of. As we of Kasra do not go to your Home's and do this, you will not do so in ours. Your opinion's, comment's, etc. we do not care to hear. If we wanted to hear them we would ask for them. We of Kasra do not care what you think of these matters. If you do not approve, keep your mouth shut. Any voiced comment's / opinion's are taken as a direct insult to the Honor of our Home Stone, the penalty for which is death.

"His head now lay half severed, blood on the peasants sandals. Gorean men are not patient with such as he."
Page 102 Beasts of GOR

8: Kasra allows no 'switchers' within it's walls. You are either Master, Free Woman, Panther, Kurii or slave. Choose one and one alone. Once that choice is made only a Master may change it. Be sure of who and what you are in Gor, once you have been accepted here you will be held to your choice. This Law not only applies to those of Kasra but to those who visit from other Home Stone's. If you are known as a "switcher", make your choice! As all of Kasra will only recognize one of your ID's. If you will not choose, or are so foolish as to attempt to use more than one ID here, at the least you will be banned, though killing such fools is considered by those of Kasra to be amusing. If you are not known to us as a "switcher" and are caught, the penalty will be death.

9: Kasra is an Independent Home Stone, based on a fusion of the Culture's of the Tahari Desert Tribes and the Wagon People's. In Kasra Free Women are not required to wear veils. Though, in Kasra a Free Woman may choose to wear Haik or Robes of Concealment, it is not required.

10: The Laws of Kasra do not only apply to the people of Kasra. They also apply to visitors and guests, who, in too many cases, seem to believe that they are above the Laws of other Home Stone's. This is not so in Kasra. You will either obey our Laws or you will leave, be banned or killed.

11. As the City of Kasra and it's Khan wish to bring as many Honorable people to Gor as possible, the City of Kasra is an open City. Visitor's / Guest's who have not pledged to another Home Stone, are allowed a Hand, (5), days to visit. On the fifth day you will be asked if you wish to pledge to the City of Kasra. If you do not, barring a grant of special status by the Khan, you will be told to leave and not return until such time as you wish to do so. If you wish to you will be placed on 3 Hands (15) days of probation - a time where you can learn, train and find your place on Gor; and a time for us to observe you and get to know you. At the end of this probationary period, the High Council of Kasra willl meet to decide if Citizenship will be offered. If decided in favor of you, full Citizenship will be granted once you have made your oath to the Khan and the City of Kasra. If decided against you, you will be told to leave and never return.

12: The tags of Kasra will be obeyed by all. Violations of the tags will carry a penalty, the severity of which will be based upon the tag violated. In the case of violating a maim or kill tag, the penalty shall be banishment, temporary or permanent, to be determined in the Hall of Justice. If the banished return they will be killed on sight from that time after. The only exception to this Law is if the Khan, or in his extended absence, the High Council, decides that there were mitigating circumstances.

13. Granting of a slave's request for entrance and to greet shall be done in this order: Khan, the slave's Master, First Sword, Second Sword, and Master in charge, Mistress in Kasra. Under no circumstances may a Visitor / Guest grant entrance to any slave of Kasra. A Visitor's / Guest's slave, in the company of her / his Master / Mistress must be granted entrance by a Master of Kasra.

14. No ko'laring of a City ka'jira making her a Personal ka'jira shall ever be allowed or recognized as legal by any Citizen of Kasra without that Citizen having first asked for and received permission to do so from the Khan. Understand all City ka'jira are, as they are owned by the City of Kasra, the PROPERTY of The Khan. Ko'laring a City ka'jira as your Personal ka'jira without the permission of the Khan, is Theft of the Property of the Khan, and, from this day forward will be treated as such. With the appropriate penalty.

15. Until such time as the City ka'jirae of Kasra outnumber available Master's / Mistresses's without a Personal by a ratio of two to one no Master / Mistress of Kasra may have more than one Personal ka'jira. No harem building in Kasra will be allowed.

16. While a new City ka'jira is fully restricted No speaking with that ka'jira about matter's such as a Master's / Mistress's wish to make that ka'jira their Personal will be tolerated. Be it known that the Khan has the right, and may choose to exercise it, at any time, to read all of a City ka'jira's IM's. In addition, as the City ka'jira of Kasra, being owned by the City, and thus are, by extension, the Property of The Khan, before a Master / Mistress of Kasra makes known their wish to make a City ka'jira their Personal ka'jira, that Master / Mistress must first tell the Khan of their desire to do so, and gain his permission to speak to the ka'jira, or ka'jirus, about their desire to make the slave their Personal, before they may do so.

17. No ko'laring of a Personal ka'jira shall ever occur, or be recognized as legal, without the Khan being Present for the ko'laring. Remember, only the Khan has possession of the key's to all ko'lar's of City ka'jira. There are no spare key's to them, and only The Khan has the Right and Authority to un-lock the lock on a City ka'jira's ko'lar and only The Khan has the Right and Authority to remove the ko'lar of a City ka'jira of Kasra.

In addition, only the Khan can ko'lar a slave as a City ka'jira of Kasra. Except for when the Khan is away for an extensive period of time, 4 day's, then the First Sword may do so in his absence.

18. No Visitor / Guest in Kasra shall ever presume to dictate to, correct, discipline or "put in their place" any Free Woman or Slave of Kasra or within Kasra. Any who do so WILL be KILLED immediately if The Khan, FS or SS is present, or upon their being found by any Master of Kasra. As a Guest / Visitor you have NO right of command over ANY of Kasra. You are served in Kasra at the whim of the Khan, you are allowed in Kasra as a Guest / Visitor at the whim of the Khan. Remember both well, if you presume authority you Do Not Have DIE you WILL.

19. ANY who enter Kasra and Dare to challenge the Absolute Authority of the Khan, in any way, WILL be KILLED immediately. There will NO warning's, NO second chance's, NO time granted to explain. ANY who DO will simply be EXECUTED like the sleen THEY ARE.

20. Free Women, as in True Gor, can speak out, and speak freely. A ka'jira in Free Woman's Robe's, You are Not. NOT in Kasra. Understand, though, Full Respect is DUE the Khan of Kasra at ALL time's from ALL. The Khan will NEVER accept disrespect from ANY, be they Master, Free Woman or Slave. ALL of Kasra, and ALL Guest's / Visitor's had best keep THAT in mind AT ALL TIMES.

21. 'Face-Stripping' is not Gor. As such it is not tolerated or legal within Kasra. Any who defy this if they be of Kasra shall find their way out of Kasra, quickly. Any not of Kasra who would be so foolish as to 'Face-Strip' a Free Woman of Kasra WILL find the result's Fatal.

All Law's and Rule's of Kasra shall be obeyed at all time's. Failure to do so may be more costly than you might think.

Kasra Rule's of Combat

These Rules of Combat apply to all of Kasra

1) All posts must contain a minimum of 5 words, and a maximum of one offensive or one defensive action per post. If any post has less than 5 words or more than one offensive or defensive action in it, it is invalid. Note: This rule does not preclude, for example, drawing two swords, raising two crossbows, etc.

2) Fatal blows may only occur after the third post. Example below.
Initiation of Combat: ...Looks at man with intent to kill...
1st Post: ...Draws sword from it's sheath..
2nd Post: ...runs at man sword raised...
3rd Post: ...slashes sword at his throat... After this post a fatal blow can be struck, such as below.
4rh Post: ...swords blade cuts through his throat... A fatal blow.

If a fatal blow is struck within the first three posts, the post shall be invalid. The person having done so shall have to continue combat until such time as he can make a fatal blow, i.e..- until such time as a fatal blow is struck after the 4th post of combat. Violation of this rule, if not resolved in combat, will result in the Khan ruling all combat invalid.

3) To initiate the act you intend to perform, (Combat/Kill, Maim, Raid, Capture, etc.), you must state the name of your target and your intentions towards them. If you do not both name your target and state your intentions towards your target, all your subsequent actions will be declared invalid.

4) The above rules apply to combat/kill's, maim's, raid's and capture's.

5) All offensive acts of killing, maiming, capturing, imprisonment, etc. are arbitrated solely by the Khan. All rulings are based on realistic plausibility and the aforementioned combat style for role-play, every such offensive act must be verified by unedited text and all rulings are final.

6) These Rules not only apply to those of Kasra, but also apply to any within Kasra.

7) Challenges involving a Kasran and an outsider shall be handled in the following manner:
The Challenger picks the grounds upon which the combat will occur, his opponent picks the weapon's to be used. Any challenge made to the Free within the sovereignty of Kasra will be conducted according to Kasra's Rules of Combat. (This means any challenge made on any page owned by Khan Kane Damar Grimblade, then Kasra's Combat Rules are the only rules allowed or recognized , regardless of where the combat occurs).

8) Challenges involving Kasran's only shall be handled in the following manner:
The Khan picks the grounds upon which the combat will occur, and the Khan shall also choose the weapon's to be used and time / date of the combat and all other matter's concerning each challenge.

Kasra Rule's for Escaping

These Rule's apply to ALL of Kasra and ALL Visitor's / Guest's

Escape post's in Kasra ust consist of four, five word post's. Example below:

First Post - ::Stands up looks for door::

Second Post - ::Sees door across the room::

Third Post - ::Runs for the door fast::

Fourth Post - ::Rushes through door and away:: This would be a successful escape.

Anything less than that is not a vaid escape. And will NOT be recognized as one.

Simply leaving the room is not escaping, do so, and you will, legally, be considered to still be in the room and anything that happen's t you, be it capture, maim or death, WILL be Legal.

“A good fight, I have heard men of the Tahari say, licking their lips, justifies any cause.”
(Tribesmen of Gor, pg. 177)

"There is a time and place for speaking, as there is a time and place for steel."
(Slave Girl of Gor, p.269)

"Draw your weapon," said the officer.
"I drew the blade quickly, smoothly, and stepped back. When a Gorean tells you to draw your blade, it is generally not wise to spend a great deal of time discussing the matter. He may have something in mind."
Savages of Gor - Page 88

“I sat there in the darkness and wondered on honor, and courage. If they were shams, I thought them most precious shams. How else could we tell ourselves from urts and sleens? What distinguishes us from such beasts? The ability to multiply and subtract, to tell lies, to make knives? No, I think particularly it is the sense of honor, and the will to hold one's ground.”
Marauders of Gor - Page 6

"Do not ask the stones or the trees how to live , they can not tell you ; they do not have tongues, do not ask the wise man how to live for, if he knows, he will know he cannot tell you; if you would learn how to live, do not ask the question, its answer is not in the question but in the answer, which is not in words; do not ask how to live, but, instead, proceed to do so."
