Military Divisions


These four divisions work as one to achive victory for the Free Trade Cities.


Infantry The core of the Free Trade Cities Army. The infantry is the bulk of the army, all corperals and lower are part of the infanty until they are culled to another part. The infantry is comprised of the main shield wall, and support units and the flanks. The shield wall is veteran shield fighters, the support units are those of red and greens scattered amongst the shields and helping with the destruction of other shield walls, the flanks are mostly the low ranking units, and capable defensive flankers capable from keeping the main shield wall from being surrounded.
Flankers This group is the offensive flankers wolf packing and raking other units. Wearing them down and distracting them from the movements and attacks of the Infantry. It is rare to see more then five of these soldiers in any one place as the objective is to hit and move and keep moving. A lot of a flankers time is spent in positioning, then a short time in the attack and even more time in positionig.
Strike Team These soldiers make surgical strikes, picking and choosing to make the most of an enemies flaws, taking few in and killing many times their own number, taking any advantage they can muster, and using the element of suprise. These soldiers are more often in the mix then the Flankers, but to become one of them a soldier must be highly effective in his particular style of fighting. There are the least number of these soldiers on the field.
Archer Corps The archer corps is the bulk of the archers of the army, and several mobile sheildmen they use as defense. These soldiers primarily escort the Infantry into battle, but are an individual division cabable of supporting any of the other divisions in the army of the FTC or any of its allies.
