Two different views of the chapel in two moments of the religious ceremony of the blessing of the new couple, HRH Princess Benedikte and HSH Prince Richard. To the left of the couple was placed the Danish Royal Family and the members of foreign royal families. To their right was placed the family of Prince Richard and the members of the new Danish Government, installed just a couple of days before.

The couple receives the blessing after the exchange of vows and rings.

These four pictures depict the moment in which the new royal couple faced their guests and bowed and curtseyed to the Danish sovereigns, before coming down the aisle of the chapel of Fredensborg palace. The bridesmaids helped the Princess the train of her dress.
