Bloodwraith has super human strength agility and speed. hE also has the power to manipulate shadows. He can teleport using shadows as well as wrap negative chi energy around his fists or his katana making his blows deadlier as well as shoot negative energy blasts. He can summon shadowy tendtils as well as shadow creatures to do his bidding as well as control the shadows of others. He also can transform into a shadowy wraith making him intangible like a ghost.

The mysterious immortal warrior known as Donovan Bloodwraith was once a normal man. A great warrior who mastered the art of sword fighting, he traveled around the world to compete with the best swordsmen. While in Japan, he met up with a dumpeal known as Shin. Also a great swordsman he challenged Donovan to a dual. Shin Told Donovan that if he could match him He would tell him of a secret he learned to obtain power and life everlasting. The two men fought for hours, Not one getting the better of the other. Shin saw that Donovan was a worthy warrior and true to his words he told him about an ancient book known as the book of shadows. He told him that who ever found that book, and read it would gain the ultimate prize.

Donovan left japan and began his search for the book. After five years his search led him to egypt. There, he found an underground temple. After surviving the booby traps Dononvan finally found the book. The eager warrior noticed that he was able to read the ancient text but couldn't understand how. The months that followed, Donovan read everything that was in the book. He began to read out the encantations,and shadows formed around him and absorbed by his body.

By the time he was done he noticed that he could control shadows and take the form of a shadowy wraith. Not only that but he was also granted super natural strength and speed as well as eternal life. No longer a mere man, he has become The Bloodwraith.
