I am a 50-year-old writer and photographer who lives, laughs, and enjoys life with my partner of 9 years, Rhonda.
Nine-year-old (apparently sleepy) lab/Golden retriever mix, Kirby, and two adult cats, are pictured below.
Boomer, 15, is a male orange tabby. Dusty, a female aged 13, is the tiger cat. They take turns being boss!
[On August 13, 2011, we lost our beloved Dusty to kidney failure. She is now at Rainbow Bridge playing and healthy again, waiting for the day we are all reunited. Rest in peace, Dusty. We love you and miss you.] 
We live in Clinton Township, Michigan on 3/4 of an acre on which Kirby loves to romp. Hobbies include billiards, camping, boating, art, computers, home improvement, environmental issues, and animals. My passions include poetry, literature, photography, and nature.
We also have a collection of Detroit Red Wings memorabilia displayed proudly behind glass.
I am seeking publication in print media as well as on the web. I have had some of my poetry accepted and displayed on various web sites and print newsletters. I enjoy writing poetry, creative nonfiction, flash fiction, and human interest stories. My dream is to be a freelance writer and/or photojournalist. My current career in Health Information Management pays the bills while I pursue my dreams.
