I Wish That
You Were Peter Pan
I wish
that you were Peter Pan
And I the
sweet young Wendy
Then I would
get to hold your
hand
Whenever you
were ready
To come
and fly away with me
Into our
Neverland
Where
worries never catch us
up
And we
always understand

Where the
enemies are Pirates
Fly their
colors, set the pace
And not some
skulking neighbor
Afraid to
show their face
If you
could be my Peter Pan
And I your
charming Wendy
Then maybe
we could find a land
That's
welcoming and friendly
